Since I have started vaping I have been reading a lot watching a lot of stuff on youtube.
I read where one guy had quit smoking and after two years he went to the doctor and
had a chest xray. The doc told him he had the lungs of a non smoker.

So my question is since you have started vaping what changes have you noticed.
Of course u know I really want to hear what the vet vapers have to say.

On 6/15, I will make 2 years. I have run two halfmarathons in the last six months. This is in addition to a ton of 5 and 10K races. I was always a runner even when smoking but could never get past about the five mile mark at nearly an 11 minute pace.

My pace now for the longer distance 8+ miles is sub 10 minutes and in the shorter ones I'm capable of 9-9:30 paces.

My doctor thinks vaping is great and has told me so. I no longer wheeze when sleeping. I've quit snoring. My clothes don't stink. I've been eating more vegetables too since I can taste them again.

My personal benefits from making the switch to vaping are countless.
~ i can breathe when i RUN up a flight of stairs
~ I generally feel better
~ I don't feel like an outcast (like the world tries to make smokers feel)
~ cxr is normal, (always was, but I had smoked for 20 years)
~ fitness stuff......Even though I am an RN, I had personal goals to become a zumba instructor, and yoga instructor. I've reached those goals. I can dance for 8 hours straight (instructor training class) and not even think about it.

I haven't vaped nearly as long as these guys but I notice that i can do things now without loosing my breath or feeling like I'm going to pass out. I have more energy...the dog has mixed emotions about this since our walks tend to be longer now. Lol! Also my BP has gone down & I've actually lost a couple of pounds too! I think that's because I vape more dessert flavors instead of actually eating the dessert.

I should probably add that I was a 15 year Newport smoker. The last 10 years I smoked a PAD to a pack & a half! So considering I couldn't even run with my dog months ago I count this as progress! Lol!

At a little over 3 months ciggy-free, I can say I've seen vast improvement...after 30 years of puffing a pack a day. I don't wheeze no more (well, maybe a tad if i'm REALLY exerting myself) and I use waaaay less salt on my food. I can now taste everything and it's wonderful. :)

My German Shepherd gets much longer walks now too....before I use to jip him on his walks. Now he gives me the "are we done YET?" look!

I have to say I'm loving these replies. I work for a local govt agency. Im sitting here at my desk vaping as I work taking short breaks
to read these responses.
None of my co-workers thus far have complained about the smell. My boss even passed by my desk saw me vaping
and said nothing.
Hopefully Ca. won't get that SB648 bill through.
But none the less the silent thus far positive responses I have gotten from co-worker.
Reading all the testimonials awesome.

I actually like/love to smoke so finding a healthier alternative is shweet.
This is actually confirming all that I have read thus far here; Utah Vaping Testimonials
and getting it realtime here is very encouraging to say the least.

Thanks again for all the testimonials

Sense of smell is wayyyy better. When I smoked I noticed I would never remember my dreams or they wouldn't be as vivid. As soon as I started Vaping I dream vivid almost every night. I'm no Doctor but I'm sure having much lower levels of C02 and other not so good things in me, due to Smoking, has been the results.

I hope I find new benefits for the rest of my life. Of course I've only found one down side... My sense of smell so much better that I never notice the cat that I slept with for 18 years actually experiences flatulence during the night. It wakes me up I'm smelling so much. Laying all jokes aside, my only regrets are that I didn't try it sooner and I honestly believe me and my mom could have been tootin away if she had tried it.

I was a pack a day plus smoker for over 20 years. Thanks to vaping I haven't smoked in eight days. (woo!) Not that long, but I swear my sense of smell is already improved (sometimes not a good thing, especially since my little one's favorite hobby is passing gas, running away, & then laughing about it ). I also feel more energetic. Haven't done too much athletics as of yet, but I'm sure I won't get as winded as when I was a smoker. Mentally feel better too. No more smoker's guilt!

Haha, two gassy stories at once. I'm a lousy typer and I take forever to post. You posted that as I was typing... What are the odds?

The big one is that I sleep much better. I have massively curtailed my nic intake. At the risk of sauntering up to the edge of TMI, my frequency of needing to get up and go the the bathroom at night has decreased markedly.

I am an odd animal in my usage. When I smoked I was more of a ritual smoker, having a cigar at the end of the day. I have not increased my usage or altered the pattern, but have curtailed nic. Other benefits mentioned such as enhanced sense of smell have followed. I have always played sports (my mild usage did not seem to be an impediment) and sadly have not noticed any improvement in my performance since vaping, which can be attributed to the fact that I suck at most sports despite my enjoyment of them.
