If you could buy only one unprotect battery for sub-ohm

Damn, 65 views and no votes opinions. I was hoping for everyone's thoughts since batteries have been discussed a ton these past couple weeks.

The thought was safety, it would be a great resource for the folks that ask the question.

I don't trust Efests. I've heard too many reports that they are really LG batteries with lower current ratings (20A), and too many reports that if you actually do run them at 35A they get a tad warm. Having said that I have run purple Efest 18500's rated for 15A down at 0.5ohms with no problems, but I wouldn't push them any further than that. I think the VTC-4s are the safest, but the VTC-5's big 2600mAh capacity does it for me. After 2 hours of 0.3 sub-ohming I would expect serious battery depletion, so I pull the VTC-5 and meter it, and it's still up at 4.0V. Two hours later and it's up at 3.9V. Simply awesome. When they get a bit flatter, they seem to hover on the 3.7V level for ages. I wouldn't buy any other batteries than the Sony's now, they are sweet batteries. I kinda dig the green wrapper too.

Damn it i meant to select 35A purple efests, been running a load of these and they perform perfectly, all the purple efests do. Running a 10.5A 18350 purple efest with a 0.8ohm coil now and it just keeps on giving, wouldn't go lower then this though

Sony vtc5 and then vtc4. I have more faith in sony's then efest just because I have seen knockoff efests from various stores. To each is own.

In 18650s, VTC5 or Samsung 25R. Both are really good. I would not buy Efest if I could avoid it.

I run sony vtc4 and efest purple and find them both terrific. now, i only run down to about .7-.8 ohms in my builds, as I am concerned about safety more than the clouds. but, i do chain vape a bit and have found both work fine.

VTC4's and 5's. Bought 2 VTC5's with my first mech purchase and later bought 6 VTC4's on sale.
