I generally don't very from my two goto flavors, root beer and vanilla bourbon.

both I can enjoy the taste and I don't loose the flavor after a lot of vaping either.

as a whim I added some Chai Tea from FA with my last order of DYI ejuice supplies..

WOW its amazing.. its just like drinking the real thing. all the spices and such come thru.
I didn't add anything to the Chia but a 1/2 ML of cotton candy as a sweetener. which I probably didn't need to do.

next batch I may add a touch of vanilla or marshmallow just to see what happens.
but just on its own its a great flavor to vape.

I am just passing alone a new find and hope others try it and share there thoughts.

Hot diggity. Masala chai is my absolute favourite beverage IRL. So hard to get authentic indian chai, however. Thankfully, I live in a British commonwealth country and good Indian restaurants abound.

Now, would you say the chai flavouring you use is more like, say, Starbucks chai or the authentic stuff?

I may have to try that if I ever get into DIY. Although I must say the Root Beer and Vanilla Bourbon you mentioned sound amazing as well. I have a Jack and Coke e-juice that is interesting to say the least. I have an e-juice with marshmallow and maybe it's hard to dial in, but I can't even taste it in the one e-juice I have.

Wife and step-son have an abundance of teas in the pantry. One of them is Chai tea. I'm not a hot tea drinker very often, but do enjoy Southern Sweet Iced Tea often. I've considered making a couple flavored tea extracts for DIY. After seeing this thread and hearing the love of Chai tea for some years and never having consumed a single cup, I am compelled to ask: What's the big deal? What are the defining and desirable notes to Chai tea. Inquiring minds want to know.

KTHXBAI! :D

It's usually a dark black tea with milk and sugar that's brewed with a bunch of spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, black pepper, etc. to give it flavor.

In India, it's also a highly region and season-specific drink. You'll find a dozen different variations based on local availability of spice and/or things like outdoor temperature - eg, heavy on the ginger in winter in the north, lots of pepper in some towns, massive cardamom (two types) in richer areas.

There's one brand of chai I like that transports me back to riding the trains in Rajasthan - it's an exact match of the blend and is even called Railway Chai.

So, it's kinda like chili - lots of recipes. The drink called chai in coffee shops in North America bears only a resemblance of the real thing - lacking in fresh spices and not made in the traditional boiling method (which is quite involved; another reason to drink chai in India as it's boiled in front of you, so less likely to make you sick).

I thought I had all the FA flavors, but I don't have Chai Tea - where did you find it (it's not anywhere I usually buy my flavors!)?
