install the upgrade/repair kit. (better know as the sub ohm kit)

Last week I was having trouble with my fire pin making contact. after fighting with it a couple days I took it apart to find I melted the pin and it looked like a mushroom.

I was ready to order a new pin and instead opted for the full Monty. Best move I have made for a while.

the upgrade is not hard to do, takes a little patience getting the fingers in small tight places.

the mod doesn't hit you over head with a drastic change in your vape. instead it just improves the way the mod works.

go from enjoyable vaping to such a pleasurable and enjoyable vape. just makes everything feel quicker and solid.

I can see this when I vape the other two stock reos mods. So I have quickly placed a order for my other grands. they should join the party too.

They are all fitted with it now - even the minis i believe. I still have 2 that are original, but they are not my main crutch and so the extra cleaning and filing required to use them is inconsequential.

My beater grand has the new kit and it's better than it ever was. I still use a smear of Noalox on it, but the tiresome cleaning and filing the pin twice a week (on account of really low Ω coils) has gone. Working with flat-top batteries is a bonus too.
