Ok, It's been a while since I've come around here. For months I have been vaping the hell out of my vaporking. I am totally hooked on it. Going through at least 6-7 carts per day. Thank God I can refill them once or twice before I get around to ordering a new batch of fresh carts. (BTW, I love those menthol carts!!)

My batteries on the other hand are starting to show their age. I started with 4. One battery is acting up with the switch getting stuck most of the time so it's useless. I now have 3 that went from 5-6 hrs of use down to an average of 2 1/2 to 3 hours of use. (Yes I know that all e-cig batteries sooner or later start to die out)

I am at the point now that I need to reserve my freshly charged batteries for when I am out of the house. In the meantime, while in the house, it would be A BLESSING to have a USB Passthru for the vapor king.

So Steve, any updates on that? While your at it, how about black colored (or white) replacement batteries? I am at the point that I am contemplating ordering another kit just to get my hands on 2 brand new batteries. I've read that you have silver but that's not for me.

I have 3 other e-cig models at home and use them as BACKUPS because the Vapor King has become my primary and #1 favorite e-cig--dot, period, the end!!

So what do you say???

I'm really rooting for you Steve.. You have had the worst luck with getting supplies and you were the one to introduce us to the VK. I know you are working on getting a passthrough of your own, which I will definitely purchase from you, but in the mean time I have been using the BLOOG passthrough with my VK carts for months now-they work great!!! I'm sure however that Steve's will work even better with the VK carts. I check the forum every day hoping that Steve receives his long, long awaited supplies!!!

Hi Steve. The Greencig carts rock, although they're on the expensive side. For those that don't know them, they're basically a 'regular cart' inside, and don't have the issues some of us have experienced with 'KR carts' starting to burn up inside, nor the flaky/inconsistent fill/QC the KR carts have had at times. Several of us have been using the GC carts and refilling (yes, they can be refilled) on our KR and/or VK batteries for a while now. Assuming you've got a 2 hole battery..do not snug these entirely down, go to snug, then back off slightly, or you won't be able to draw through it, the carts are not vented/no holes like KR/VK carts. A nice side effect is it's effectively 'adjustable draw' by just loosening or tightening it *slightly*. There is no issue with them 'falling off' KR/VK batteries though..very good stuff.

The Western is 'Western Tobacco' and is very nice, really tobacco-ey.

GC cart refills for the curious (and to see most of what's inside..I've posted pics elsewhere of entirely disassembled):

Either way works, as does drip from battery end (but not mouthpiece end, see the vid or pics to see why) like the VK carts you have now. The best tool for removal of the inner cart I've found is a dental pick, with the very tip bent at a sharper angle to grab the 'flat spot' on the inner cart.

@Steve - why the change to GC carts? Are all VK batteries 2 hole? The GC carts do not seem to work on the 4 hole bats. Are the PTs USB or manual? Will these be going on the web site, or ?

I am NOT changing, just gonna have more options, at lower cost

My batteries are mostly 4 hole, and the GC does work with my new 4 hole

Wegster, I have been playing with the GC carts along with my latest 4 hole batteries, and WOW, they work fabulous. Better than the old 4 holes, by a mile, as far as the GC carts. My new Pass-Thru is 2 hole, and is NOT manual switch, but auto, and this as well work exaxtly as you would want it too. Both 4 hole, and 2 hole just seem to work GREAT.
