Apologies if this has been posted, I searched but didn't see anything.
At first I didn't really notice anything was wrong, but I suddenly realized that it was hard to inhale to get good vape. I thought it was a bad cartomizer or that my tank was plugged. It was like sucking through a straw while pinching it between your fingers. I switched to a new battery and the difference was night and day.
I have several batteries (all purchased) at the same time so I just figured that battery was worn in. But only a few days later it happened again to another battery. I looked the battery over and found quite a bit of carbon buildup on the threads. I wiped them off but that didn't resolve the issue. Then I noticed the 2 (very small) air hols located just below the threads. I took a small pin and stuck in the the holes. I tried the battery again and it works fine now!
