Hi everyone,
Been a long time vaper and just bough a halo G6 about 2 weeks ago. This is my opinion on the G6, nothing more or less and I will only give the meat and potatoes of my thoughts, no fluff here.
Halo has done a great job of making their product look high class no doubt. The two batts cam in a nice little case ( seems like the case probably cost as much as the batts) and the wall charger is high class looking as well. The Batts are a matt black and seem to be holding up well.
Their carts leave something to be desired, They have a small plug in the end so you can refill them and it is shouldered in an attempt to keep it from pushing down into the cart, but it is not shouldered enough and always pushes down into the e cig. Also the paper on the carts pretty rapidly deteriorated as I used. I have been through about 5 ML of juice in a cart and it is very ratty looking now.
juice- I could not find anywhere on their site what mixture of PG/VG they use in their liquid. They confirmed to me it is all PG. I inquired after having a sore throat due to my personal intolerance for PG. This may or may not be a problem for you.
I purchased the tobacco flavor sample pack and their flavors seem to be pretty good, I am actually disappointed that I cant vape them.
Ok the bad news...
Functionally I am unimpressed. One of my big complaints is that it is virtually impossible to know when the battery is fully charged. Halo specifically says that just because the light on the tip is out does not mean the battery is charged. You are essentialyl forced to wait a solid 8 hour to be sure the battery is fully charged. Not cool.
The battery is not all that long lasting... If you decide to go with Halo G6 I strongly suggest you get the longer battery. I get much more time out of my el cheapo -Mystic (wal mart variety) that is only very slightly longer.
IF I had it all to do over again, I would have bought another mystic and just refilled the carts on it ( which I have been doing side by side with the halo) There is just not really any more tangible performance to the G6. It looks nicer and empty carts are available, but that is about it.
Cheers.
