If you are in the Tulsa Broken Arrow area I would meet up with you to teach you. But you have just got to come to the vape meets if you can. You would not believe how much you learn and all the nifty things to see and of course all of the people are so helpful and eager to help in any way possible. Plus everybody gets it when you say I vape -------- and what do you vape?
You guys are so awesome! My favorite thing to vape right now is diy strawberry shortcake. I am going to master rebuildables too by golly! I had one blissful hour on an ody v2 before I did something to mess up the coil. The flavor was just incredible. From what I have heard you have some expertise in the defcon. If I have any trouble after I get my wire in, I might be pm'ing you. Amber, I can't wait to see your bead/glass art combined with the wood!

Hi AmberB

truly a stunning box, I find the guillotine solution really brilliant

and, to my eye it seems that your husband really know how to work the wood ;)

What I'd like to find in the final model :nun:

a thinner body (it looks a little bulky), the use of batteries 18490 (my favorite, I use them in: my mini provari, Reo WV , Cutlass and the Reo Grand with a kick)

and last (this just a dream) the olive wood

see you soon, and when you open a list please tell me, i'd like to reserve one :)

ps - sorry for my english

Thanks! The VW feeder model is definitely a tad large, but for everything it needs to house it has to be. There are plans for a non feeder tank inset model that will be smaller though! Unfortunately the chip really doesn't support an 18490 because of the c rate. While I am using one right now in the prototype and it seems to be working fine, I just don't want to take that risk with my customers. I think the plan is to list the first run in a first come first serve sale here so I can judge what goes the fastest, then I will start doing lists. The first run will be somewhere in between 20-30 of the feeder models. I will check into the olive wood and see if it's something I can get!

I plan on mixing it up a bit, so some will have stones and some will not. All will have metal inlay but what type of metal and the finish on it will vary, so you just might see one like that pop up!

I am really excited to see what you come up with Amber! Ebony + silver inlay reminds me of another time in my life, years back, so hopefully later on I see one of those going :D

Ebony is a hard wood to work with though, so I guess it'd be up to your hubby. I do like that the first models are 18650, I already have a bunch of those

If you're considering pre orders, I'd totally be interested in a tank inset vw! I have bottom feeders, and love them, but I'm gravitating more and more towards rebuildable attys.

Also: stabilized wood. So pretty. :)

Vaping since: a while
Cigarettes avoided: lots
Money saved: probably not
Devices: Yes
(insert crappy graphic and vendor logo here)
