Hi Amber! I ordered these from ebay: Lot of 5 empty 5 ml glass spray atomizers bottles

I'm going to see if I can attach a tube to the nozzle and if so how they perform with ejuice. If they work and I send you one, does it look like something you could incorporate?

Edit: Oh! And how is the recovery going? Are you still swollen up? They haven't seen you again. Is that right? Because that doesn't seem right to me. <worried>

Well amber, I have been in the legal field for almost 30 years and I suggest that you, your husband and several male friends go down to the dentists office, hold him down and inject air into his gums!

LMAO! It's getting better. I dont think I will need to resort to that this time!

It would require a pretty big redesign to use a glass bottle with a button. I've had a lot of trouble with those glass bottles in my top feeder too. Always leaking! Is it possible to squonk a top feed? I was thinking we could still use the squonk method and run the tube through a hole in the box up to the adapter. Could that work?

And on the recovery, the swelling is slowly but surely going down. They did see me yesterday morning to check it and prescribed a round of steroids which seem to be helping. I can eat at least now! LOL!

Amber - my GLV3 in top-feed mode uses a regular bottle like the bottom feeders .... just a longer tube than when it's in bottom-feed mode.
Makes it a bit hard to squonk thick juices, depending on how long the tubing is. :(

Tubing wouldn't have to be too long. 6 inches or so and she could trim it down to the height she wants. The hole will actually have to be on the front top edge above the button because the top space is completely used up.

Amber, I'm glad to hear that they did see you, gave you meds, and that it's getting better. Scary stuff.

I agree that I've had issues with the push button bottles. The tops fail too quickly. I do like glass and the measured amount of juice they deliver though, and I'd be willing to live with it if I can replace them for a reasonable price. I completely understand if they'd be a problem to work into your design though.

I may need to go to sqonking school , but I'm willing to try.

After trying both top and bottom feed, I do still think top feed delivers better flavor.

I'm a greedy greedy girl. I want it all! Flavor, convenience, throat hit. Mine! All Mine! <takes breath, considers others may consider her a teensy bit over the top, decides she doesn't care>

Found this through google. Stealing it. My apologies to the creator:

LOL! It would require the body to be taller by about an inch to put the electronics in line with the connector and the bottle on the other side. Button would have to move to the bottom right corner of the face and the hole with the button on the glass bottle would poke out the top. The hubby is very one track mind and he wants to perfect this design before he's willing to explore another or do customs. But modding in a squonk top feed would be easy. You might have to use a shorty sealed adapter on it to stop the juice from flowing through though, because I cant change that once its made. I would have to know before it was finished that it was yours.

Foggy, I appreciate your desire for a top feeder. I also know that those spray bottles don't last too long due to the viscosity of e-liquid. Ambers suggestion of attaching a tube to the bottle and making the unit similar to the glv feeder could work. But have you ever tried a drip on demand unit sold by mad vapes?

Thanks for the suggestion Colonel. I've been watching the DoD thread here, but haven't ordered one.

I have 2 of them, and to be honest they can be a little finicky, but when you get them set up correctly they work very well. If I may make another suggestion, I saw a system on the site where they sell the buzz which is simply a bottle strapped onto the mod via elastic and then a tube that goes from the bottle to a tip or you can use a universal extension such as they sell at cherry vapes with a hole drilled into it for the tube. Although it does not look pretty it works.

The only top feed systems that I know of are or were the notcigs vvpv and their electronic version one whose name I forgot which is no longer made, the glv feeder which could be fed top or bottom and the pufftronic feeder (no longer made.) You could also purchase the top feeding vapemate from superTmanufacturing. I have 2 of these and they work well.
