Igo-L Impressions

Got my Igo-L in the mail today and was able to make a sweet 9 wrap microcoil with 30g kanthal = 2 ohm. It was easy to set-up with the big deck and performs like a champ. I'm excited to drill out the air hole to 1/16 tomorrow and get that much better performance. Hopefully my ekowool will show up this weekend, silica makes me nervous and has been the reason I haven't stepped into rba's (outside of rebuilding protank heads with cotton). Anyways, I thought I would share my thoughts on this well priced intro rba.

I would actually consider going even bigger with your air holes. I have two IGO-Ls and have found that I personally like them wide open, even for a single coil. One of mine has a single 7/64 air hole and the other dual 5/64

I have 3 of them and the are by far my fave atty. Yea, rba units like the rsst and aga-t are nice but in my book they dont come close to a well setup igo-l with a large air hole.

Yes, the IGO-L was my first dripper and properly set up it rocks. I have a wick and coil in one that I've been using for over a month and still going strong. Great Dripper.

Yes, I have 3 of these bad boys. I really like them too. I find 1/16 air hole is perfect for me, YMMV though. I have a squid with a larger hole and I dont really care for it. It has no restriction at all, feels like breathing I get big clouds from it though.
