hey guys, just received an igo-l in the mail and the thing will not fire on my mvl version 2. I am using 27 gauge kanthal and 3mm wick and i have tried everything. I even went up to 10 wraps thinking that the resistance wouldn't read because the ohms are too low but that can't be the problem at this point. i am almost positive the center post is touching the mvp but there is no way to move the center pen further down to make sure. any suggestions??

Does the Igo fire on other batteries?

Im assuming the MVP is reading 'non' when you attempt to check resistance correct?

You likely either need to slightly raise the 510 pin on the MVP using the method similar to the ego battery fix, or you can attempt to push out the pin a bit on the igo by applying gentle but consistent pressure to the center post (one with insulator) until the 510 pin on the igo is ever so slightly extended.

*EDIT* Guess i missed the other monster thread...lol

What if you sold ink jet printers and cartridges batteries and clearomizers. You could sell the printers batteries cheap and have more owners buying more of your cartridges clearomizers. What if you could lock owners into your cartridges clearomizers by lowering an electrical contact in the printer battery just a bit and extending the matching contact in your cartridges clearomizers to match. Maybe that's tin foil hat stuff, but I sure do see a lot of posts about non-Innokin delivery devices not working on MVPs.

It the other thread you were given instructions how to push the center post of the IGO-L down a bit.

If the problem is not too low an Ohm coil then it is likely that despite your belief that it is making connection on your MVP it probably isn't.

the thread where we were trying to work this through last night for reference
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-discussion/506229-igo-l-will-not-fire-4.html

I followed the instructions given in last notes post and it didn't work for me. I am re-asking the question to see if there are more effective ways to push the center pin down.

Very clever, But if my all my clearomizers work with my mvp 510 connection then my igo-l shouldn't have any issues.

Johnny relax a little. I understand your frustrations. We are on your side here and trying to help you sort it out. :) I doubt there is one of us that at some point hasn't been sitting right where you are with a device that just isn't behaving right. Let's work the problem.

Did you check the posts on the IGO-L to make sure they are tight. I mean the posts on top of the deck themselves not the screws that hold the wires (I am assuming you did check the screws last night multiple times).

I yanked the coil off my IGO-L late last night so that I could take a good look at it to try and help you better. I had to twist the posts themselves a little bit on the deck a bit as I noticed one of mine was working itself loose.

When I look at the positive post on the 510 connector of the IGO-L it protrudes ever so slightly below the threaded casing of the connector. Maybe 1/34th of an inch tops. Does yours?

If your IGO will not adjust the post down any farther then you will have to adjust the positive connection on your MVP up slightly. This video is not an MVP but the process is exactly the same Center Pin Issue - Fixing a non firing eGo battery - YouTube

"relax a little" lol. Thank you, the youtube video worked, the problem was that my mvp pin was too low and needed to be raised slightly. This igo-l is giving me some awesome flavor at 1.3 ohms!
