IGO-L not much vapor

Hey there! I've made a few posts but I'm still fairly new. Anyways I just purchased my first rba. I bought the IGO-L. The first micro coil I wrapped on it was 10 wraps on a 1/16 drill bit using 30awg A1 kanthal. I wicked it with cotton, juiced it up, took a few draws and it sucked :(. So I thought hey maybe I did this .... wrong lemme try again and I'll wrap a 2ohm coil this time. It was better but still kinda meh. I'm pretty sure I got the cap air hole lined up with the coil right. So I'm firing it at about 4.2 volts on my MVP 2, which BTW I had to push the center pin down a bit for it to make contact because it was reading non on the first coil. I like mouth to lung inhales which I dunno if that makes a difference. Haven't drilled the hole cus it seems like an ok draw stock. Here's a pic and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Next time you wrap a coil, try positioning it closer to the edge, closer to the air hole. Airflow is key and you really need the air coming in right on your coil. Also make sure the height of your coil is dead center on the height of the air hole. Other than that, the coil itself looks good.

Well you were right. I positioned it about 1mm above the deck and 1mm away from the cap. Lined the hole up and the vape is much better. A little more smooth too. I only wrapped 8 times and got 2ohms cus I figured the extra length in between the coil and posts would add some resistance. Not blowing clouds by any means but much better than it was

I have an IGO-L. I really like it. I find with all my drippers that if I get the cotton to saturated that it won't vape as well. I just vape on it til it drys up some. I also make sure and put a little bed of cotton directly beneath and touching the coil. That way I'm getting more coil coverage, thus more vapor. Mine vapes awesome. I hope you can get it lined out.

I finally get why people lung inhale..... I have had a magical moment.... So last night After fiddling around with the IGO-L I figured I would throw in some Georgia Peach juice I had from NolaVape. I tried a few lung inhales and started to like it. I had tried lung inhales on other devices but had never really experienced what I did last night. A man on a mission today since the draw was a bit tight decided to drill the airflow hole out to 1/16th. I was hard, long and..... Ok that sounded.... Anyway it took forever that steel is thick, but eventually I made it through. I popped the cap on the IGO and reluctantly took a toot. A bright light shined upon me and a melody of brass instruments filled the air as I ascended to the heavens of vaping :D

Hey vapers kinda new on this whole vaping thing I've been building coils on my igo s for a month now and I'm trying to get the most vapor without going too far sub ohm tue best build I've found so far is this twisted 30g kanthal about 7/8 wraps on 1/16" bit which gave me around 1ohm super great flavor and not too much TH but I'm wanting more clouds ive got my air hole almost to a 1/8 cause I like lung hits, am I just asking too much from a single coil? Here's my build

My best single coil clouds are from 3/32" twisted 30GA. Coil in air flow path and about 2 mm from 1/8" air hole. 100% VG only produces bigger clouds it wick can flow enough of the thick VG. On small ID coils I get bigger clouds with lower VG; like 50 to 80% VG depending on build.

Oh alright makes sense cause I'm using 40/60pg i want bigger clouds but I really don't want to switch juices these people have made the best I've ever had, especially with cotton, haven't tried the twisted on silica I have some 3mm left I might try some later, how low of ohms do you go on the 3/32

My fav 3/32" and 1/16" coil is twisted 30GA 1.2 ohms.
I like those coils for single and dual builds.
