Ok, so I just got the Igo-L a few hours ago, made a quick coil, and have been vaping for a bit. I figured I'd write a short post about my experience so far, for anyone looking to get one. So my first coil may be the best I could ever hope to make. I took 2 loops of 3 mm silica, and cut the loops to make a total of 4 wicks. I don't have my multimeter, and out of fear of making a coil with too low of resistance, a made 5 wraps around the wicks. It was easy enough, and looked pretty sweet when it was done. I put on a pair of ballistic sun glasses (not knowing what to expect when I pressed the fire button), pressed the fire button on my MVP, and nothing. No sizzle, no pop, nada.
It seems that either the center post on the Igo is too short, or the 510 skirt thingy on my MVP is too tall because there was no connection. I've been waiting the this sucker to arrive for 2 whole days, I finally get it, and nothing. I work under the assumption that the MVP 510 skirt is too long, and take out the file on my multi-tool, then start to file down the 510 skirt (about 1 mm or so). After that it worked great. As everyone said, the flavor of juice is more pronounced using the Igo. The vapor production is great as well, not life changing, but great. Although I'm sure that as I get a little more experience with making coils it will get even better.
It is a cooler vape than I expected, but I honestly believe the coil I made is at least 2 ohm. Now, Im not sure if I got a newer version, or a clone, but I notice a few differences in the one I have and the ones I've seen on youtube. Firstly, the air hole is a pretty good size. It looks to be identical to the air hole on my MVP's beauty ring, if not slightly larger. I have seen a few reviewers say they drill it out, but I can't imagine wanting any more air flow on the one I have. I also notice that instead of having the single red o-ring, it has 2 black ones. That being said, the top cap sits quite securely.
Anyway, this is going longer than I meant. The only issue I notice is the center post that screws into my PV is a bit too short. Not a huge deal, but none the less. If anyone is thinking about getting one and has any questions just pm me, or ask it here and I'd be glad to help if I can.
