I just recevied my Igo l and was pretty excited as this is my first rebuildable and dripper. I cant get the darn thing unscrewed!!! tried the gripper material. tried plastic gloves. tried hot water. any suggestions?
What he said, adding that a small amount of moisture won't hurt as long as it has some place to expand to. So, a little moisture is okay on the outside or in open areas, not so good in tiny nooks and crannies.
I believe the Igo-L is similar to the Igo-W which I own. The top cap is held on with a couple O-rings, it's not screwed on.
Mine was very tight to take off the first time, and I screwed it into an old unusable battery and pulled the top off. Then lubed the O-rings with a little VG and it loosened it up a bit, still snug enough to prevent leaks.
