I am contemplating, well, GOING to get REO #6 real soon and I was checking out the IGO that a Rob sells. In other threads, I have seen some refer to the IGO-S. Is this the same one? I am looking to mix things up a bit and maybe get the IGO BF from Rob. What are your opinions on this? I already have 6 RM2's, 2 of them brass. If I get the IGO BF, will it fit with the normal Grand or would I have to get a milled Grand? Is it as good or equal to the RM2?

What y'all think?

I have an IGO-s I modded to bf as well as an RM2. The rm2 is definitely easier to build, but I really like the stainless and the smaller size of the IGO.

The IGO-S will fit a conventional grand

#6 !!!??!??

You, sir, are my hero. As a prize, you win the internet for the day.

Oh, and if you do go with the IGO, please report back with a comparison - I shall live vicariously through you (hey, it's better than having me stay on your couch, no?).

Well you know, I have never gotten my Badge. Do I qualify now?

Just did it. I just ordered a raw aluminum with the IGO. Now I'll have 4 Grands and 2 mini's. I simply do not believe that there is anything better out there than the REO.

<---- Jealous, really flipping jealous...

My first Grand should be on the way soon... eventually 1 IGO, 1 extra RM2, after that another grand with its own Cyclone with Fusion DT and an additional AW IMR 18650... hopefully by the end of the year I will have my Mini, dubbed Precious, the Grand Sweetness, and then hopefully another Grand and a LP Grand, with a total of 7 BF attys, 3 RM2s 1 Cyclone 1 IGO, and 2 BF attys (no idea what but two for the LP) 6 18650s, and 3 18490s

probably add another mini in on the mix and add another BF atty, and another 18490...

at least after the next tax return...

There has been lots of positive discussion on them here in the forum. I have the Rm2, Cyclone, Hornet and the Igo and find each of them equally impressive in all respects. I can say that the precision machining Rob does on the Igo and the attention to detail is just what you would expect from him...perfection.
