So I'm looking around and the igo-s appears to be dead....
All the sites I usually go to for classics are now about big power and gigantic volume.
I know I can get a chalice for small chamber, but umm you know 150 vs 45...well that's a bit of a challenge.
Anyone still into the igo-s???
It's an easy atty to BF so an unmodded is fine as well....thoughts?

Hmmm. Igo-S is a nice shape, but if you want a small chamber great atty, and don't need airflow, you can sometimes find good ones from Catfish Atty Mods. Don't recall if I've seen you over there.
Tom makes all the new popular cloud-chasing atties bottom-fed for people, but he also picks up some for us tiny atty folks. Right now, there's a list going for some ERA Hornets he''s going to buy and he might have in stock some of the Pinoy PDA or 2013 Cyclones.

I'd post right in the thread - he's hating the new "conversations" and goes from the thread to email for purchases.

Here's the PDA - hard to find it googling...

Here it is (bottom - the top is a Reactor)

No. Cal.
The reomiser 3.0 is basically the same atomizer you can use it for single or dual coil
How funny Rob. No wonder I like my Igo-s and RM3 (with single cap) the same (which is great!). Hahaha....me so silly. For looks, the 3 is a tad more complimentary to the lines of the mod.

Like my IGO-S... it is always on duty on either the VVG or one of my Woodie 14500's. Alternate on the VVG is a RM2... on the baby Woodies either a RM3 dual or A6 single.

Are you saying that he's doing both authentic ERA's and Hornets? I have both, like the Hornet better.

Also have what I guess was meant to be clones of them. A SMOK Mini that came on a used Reo I bought, was bf'd by someone with the cap drilled for dual coils, and a bf'd atty that came in with a bunch of RM2's I bought as a lot that I don't know what it is but it is very close to being a Hornet in appearance.

Sorry, no - I believe he is putting together a run of legit Hornets - soon.

I have one floating around but I prefer the RM3 over it in many cases. RM3 looks better, has a bit of a raised deck which helps with oversquonking, dual coil capable, easy to single/dual by switching top caps, and is more readily available. You can find the A6's themselves for really chip and drill out the center pin. One of the easiest atty's to BF at home.

I love my Igo-s-bf attys ,Great size and flavor, but I'm a terrible over-squonker and I'm constantly cleaning up after them.Still keep 4 of them in use.I could probably learn to quit over-squonking but I switch them out with RM2s on other mods which I can get away w/over-squonking,so I never learn. It's harder to keep paying attention as you get to be an old dog.

Wonder what squonking on a magma is like.

Well I never really heard a committed answer to the question, but I suppose I can read between the lines that the igo-s is in fact dead and most respondents have moved on....
I can see the rm3 as a substitute, but really why do I want that extra post in there for a single coil build.
The other suggestions like monster atty's totally off point, but I have several and really this is about my love affair with the igo-s.
As papa said the snazzy little atty with no love. (hell, even kidney puncher was making reduced chamber caps for this lil beast!)
I have used an A7 and that thing is terrible, IMHO, (A6 perhaps worth a shot..) the igo-s was so anti deep deck, I love a level deck :D
Those 4 you have sitting in a drawer (Oplholik) are really easy to channel mod with no specialized tools. I rarely over squonk and the practice I did put in pays in dividends on a heavenly vape.
I did however find some which was one intent of my post.

I use the Igo-S on two Reos for work, and two RM3's for home. The Igo-S is one of the shortest atties you can get and very pocketable. I've tried many small-chamber atties and these two suit me best for flavor and vapor production at the low power levels I vape at (10W). What can you "move on" to? There is nothing to "move on" to. A small atty is a small atty, there are good ones and bad ones, the Igo-S and the RM3 are good ones, thats all there is to it. SMOK, ERA, SCAR, been there done that.

My tastes are pretty basic, I don't need AFC for example, but I wouldn't mind paying $80 for a clone that was built with better quality/tolerances/o-rings etc you know like a blue-printed version, i.e. a quality piece of gear. But as they are, they are definitely easy to live with, and economical to buy and use. It would be nice to see for a change, USA or UK clones of a Chinese atty with style and build quality! But I don't think there is any market for small atties any more, everyone wants 22mm...

Finding an IGO-S wish list is not finding them if they never get their hands on anymore of them again when they have been long discontinued from Youde.

There is not enough difference between an IGO-S and A6 single to matter, and the A6 is readily available ($7).

If price doesn't matter there's the NoName No Fear BF ($115)

Ahh that I did not know, which was what I meant by asking is the IGO-S dead? answer= Yes, it's been discontinued a long time.
The one I did find had them listed as in stock a day ago, oh well unicorns and leprechauns and what not.
I see highdesertvapes has them listed in stock. Put in a call to verify, found a few others from sites I'm not familiar with,
I keep looking at the A6 and it appears the deck sits further down below the outside edge,
If price wasn't an issue for me personally I would just grab a few chalice's as well.....hmmm chalice=prying hard earned cash..
I'm fairly certain my wife's gonna be ...... when a new woddvil arrives in my hand
I really would like a chalice, but is it 10X's better than an IGO-S?? I'm thinking with your $80 Ian444 you could just double down and go for the chalice.
More lurking to follow :D
