I am kind of curious it may just be I am kind of a newb to dripping. I bought and built my first dripper yesterday and JESUS CHRIST. I CANNOT hit it without coughing HARD. I am not completely sure why. I am running 1.02 ohms on varying voltage and wattage and 11mg juice. Also my iTaste is reading NON on amps. I really don't mean to sound dumb but this just doesn't make any sense. Any help is appreciated.

Since your MVP is a variable voltage unit, I would recommend trying a higher resistance coil. 1 ohm is too low to give you much room to adjust on the low end of your voltage / wattage ranges. Try making up a 2 ohm coil, and adjust starting from the lowest setting, up until it tastes good. This would give you more up or down adjustment range to find the power and heat you prefer.

You may need to drill out the air holes in the top cap - I drill mine out to 1/16. More air flow will decrease the throat hit. Also, make sure the air holes are directly in front of your coils and that the coils are high enough off of the deck for air to flow over and under them.
