If you go dual coil, your overall resistance in ohms would be a single coil's ohms divided by 2.

So, let's say you have a dual coil build and each coil is 2.0 ohms, parallel to each other. This would give you an overall resistance of 1.0 ohms since they are splitting the amps.

If you want to go dual on a regulated device, you're going to need an overall resistance of over 1.4 (it differs from mod to mod), so both of your coils would have to be 2.8 ohm or higher a piece.

Holy Hell, I went ahead and bought a Cronus clone, Built my first dual coil setup good to go on my first try!!!! 8 wraps on 3mm with 28 gauge kanthol 2.5 silica wick runs at exactly .8 ohms. That was fun, and it only took about half an hour. Pretty happy with myself, although one coil heats up slightly faster than the other. A lot warmer vape than I am used to and 6nic is giving me a buzz.
