Ijoy combo rdta spitting and popping

I have a combo rdta with the velocity style deal with dual Clapton coils on it. The build comes to 0.30 ohms. I am running it I'm power mode on a ipv5 and 80 watts but every time I go to vape it always pops and spits no matter what I do.. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Don't over juice, pulse the fire button a little so it warms up slower and vertical coils will help alot.

Does it spit at lower wattages? It might be worth seeing if you can vape it successfully that way. Does it spit when you prime it? Seems to me that's pretty high wattage. I think some people have had luck with a longer drip tip, as well? I may be repeating stuff that's in that link, in fact I'm going to go read it now...

Increase wattage a bit, and close the airflow a bit. A Clapton coil is a high surface area build and takes more wattage and time to reach the temperature needed to vaporize all of the liquid provided by the wick. Reducing airflow a bit shortens the time but the increased temperature increases the risk of dry cotton. Be judicious.
