Just got my Katana in the mail after almost a month wait and while the battery charging icon comes on when you plug it in, it doesn’t start up no matter what you do. I’m pretty ...... with iJoy considering I already have a Shogun JR mod that died within 2 months. Any ideas?

I like the eleaf iPower 80W. It's a step up but you get what you pay for.

You mean you are trying to vape/turn it on while it's charging?
Does it start up when it's not plugged-in?

We are also assuming you know you have to press the power button 5 times rapidly to turn it on.....
The Katana has terrible reviews and they are known to be problematic. Even the Chinese are dumping them as fast as they can at rock bottom prices.
I used to have the OG and the reissue of the ipower. I actually just bit the bullet and bought one since they lasted years
Send it back for a refund.
I happen to think Ijoy mods are worse than Smok when it comes to quality although honestly, like I have heard less and less Smok annoyance lately.
The only reason I think they get less hate than Smok is they aren't peppering vape shops everywhere for one because you hold one in your hand and you immediately go, "UGH NO." B) It's harder to blow up when you don't turn on, even once.

I tend to agree that ljoy are not that good, I have an ljoy genie dual 20700 batt mod and it has a very annoying problem, if you take the batts out to charge you can't put them back in with the tank on as it fires the coils at full power completely destroying them, no problem if you take the tank off then put the batts in.
