So finally it came in yesterday so far I tested it with the default pre made IMC-coil 3 & Im falling in love with it!

Pros: Read Roadtrip635 review above he nailed it did not leave me a room to add any

Cons:

1- The above premade triple coil is juice thirsty

2- tank light turns on with the fire button with no option to disable it

Question @ Roadtrip635 did yours come with 510 adaptor? Mine did not & according to Canvape there is an error on the package & manual it does not come with it.

Mine didn't come with a 510 adapter either, but didn't mind since I like the chuff style top. I wish the tank light was on a separate circuit too, it would be better to just light it up when needed. I haven't tried the triple premade coils, I've been using the fused claptons they included and really like them.

You can turn off the tank light. Just need to go into the settings (3 clicks and then choose the last option).

Hey all, didn't want to start a new thread but I'm having a problem with my RDTAbox. For some reason the temp control mode reads it as Max temp after building a fresh dual spaced deck. It reads the ohms and fires fine in VW mode, but in TC mode it cuts to 0w instantly and won't fire. I'm using 8 wraps of 26g SS, set at 66 Watts, I've set temp anywhere from 450f up to 520 but that makes no difference. Is there some way I need to reset it after building?

Update to ver 1.1 you will have 2 options
Select the default SS temp control
Select 1 of the 2 TCR value & edit it to match the wire you are using

Sorry for the late reply KenD I overlooked your post
Ver 1.1 adds 2 TCR 1 is set @ 80 the other is set @ 100, both can be edited to match the wire you are using.

The upgraded firmware didn't solve my problem, unfortunately. I think it assumed I hadn't changed coils since the resistance was similar but not the same, it thought it was the same coil already hot. I changed to the premade coil for now, hopefully when I switch back it will recognize it as new.

Remove your atty then click the fire button with no atty attached then put the atty back on it should read the correct resistance & while the screen is on click both + & - to lock your resistance
Any ways from your above post I'm assuming that you have too much cotton leading to dry hits to eliminate the doubt try chain vape in power mode if you run into dry hits then you need to reconfigure your wick.

Does the Ijoy rdta box usb charge? I don't usb charge usually, but I've had a couple of stays away from home where bringing a charger with me simply isn't practical.

1- did you remove your batteries?
2- did you hold the fire button while connecting your usb till the device is recognised?
