Carto tank question for your folks that relates to what IKENVAPE sells for cartos. I am eyeing either a GP S&P tank, or a tank of IBTanked.

My bigger question is about carto's. I get the whole punched versus slotted, and resistances. What I don't get is carto length.

I look on the IKENVAPE site and they have a bunch of different length punch and slotted cartos.

Here are the specs on the S&P tank:
OD: 22 mm/23 mm
Height: 35,7 mm
Capacity: 3,5 ml

So if the height is 35mm approximately, and a KV 510 Platinum Cartomizer SR S Series (Recommended for 4.2-5V) has measurements of (D: 35mm 40mm total), is it a good fit?

What happens if you use one of the mega cartos, for example IKV 510 MEGA Platinum SR S Series (Recommended for 4.2-5V) (D: 45mm 50mm total). Do you end up with a bunch of extra carto sticking out of your tank? Other than cosmetics does that become a problem with performance of the tank setup?

Is there a rule of thumb about how tall of a carto versus how tall of a tank?

Yes. you want the carto to be the same hight as the tank.
the SnP is 35 mm tall so you want to get a carto that is 35mm tall.

35mm is the standard tank size.
45mm is the XL tank size.

Also note that that Iken could clear things up with a comma. (45mm, 50mm total) seems to make more sense, to me anyways. They're saying it's for a 45mm tank, but the total length of the cartridge (including the threaded connection) is 50mm.
