IKV 510 Drip-Style Cartomizers are now being released! You heard about them and seen them in action by our Veteran vaping Beta’s and now you can have them! Here is the wide testing thread for your viewing pleasure http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-510-drip-style-cartomizer-beta-progress.html These have been designed from the ground up by IkenVape. Meaning modified threading for exceptional airflow, modified filling and tighter silk to retain and distribute liquid properly, increased filler to 4mm under the brim for maximum liquid occupancy, and matching shiny solid aluminum Drip Tip Standard! These are our Flagship cartomizers and I hope you guys get a chance to try them before they fly!

Can we get a pic of inside them ??

I'm not sure what you mean by "drip style" are they filler cartos or more like the e2s (which make nice drippers)? Or something totally different.
A pic down the barrel would be worth 1K words :)

what he said im in for a inside view of the new ones...

lm3...

NO, they look like normal cartos do, nothing like the E2s.

FWIW, I ordered 10 as soon as they went up.

So what makes them a "drip style" just the included drip tip. With normal cartos the drip tip puts the juice right in the center and down the hole. Just what you don't want. You wan't to drip around the edge and let it soak to the center.

Don't get me wrong I am all for new things, but this just seems like taking an old thing and trying to spin it a new way.

I hear you and I am not fussy with the DT either. If you read my review, I pointed this out. I do not drip cartos myself, for what you have previously stated. By the time I am done going through all 10 I ordered i will have 28 DTs. No I ordered them because this carto build gets a 6/5. Coming from me, that is indeed an impressive number because I hate cartos.

I need to re-phrase my last sentence, I hate most cartos. What I would honestly like to see in the future, is this carto "build" sans drip tip, which I have discussed in private with Isaac.

One thing I will say though, with the variety and quality of cartos and attys offered at IkenVape, their is something there that will meet everyone's vaping style. I am not merely shilling here, I use Isaac's attys and cartos exclusively, because he has indeed developed a superior product with a more than reasonable price point, and I have tried and own them all. Why? Because of the consistent quality that many simply cannot offer, at this point.

Many will argue that why by attys above $3, since they go through them like sheet through a goose? Perhaps it is the individual's vaping style that decreases their longevity, or perhaps a sub-par product. All I know is that I easily get 2-3 months out of my attys at HV. I went through 8 of 10 801s in a week from another reputable vendor. It didn't take me a degree in Astro Physics to decide where to spend my money :)

Thanks Switched ^^^ I hear ya too. I am not knocking it .. heck I haven't even tried them.
Just had some questions.

One thing I was sure of is if Isaac is offering them they must be good.
I am an atty junkie, and an Ikenvape customer. Their stuff is good .... no no REAL GOOD.

Sadly I am kinda in a pinch and waiting for the 2Ω and 2.5Ω to be re-stocked.
Isaac let me know that it might be a month.

Like I said I am an atty junkie and get worried when my stock gets below 15 or so.
I am also a fan of the Cisco spec LR 510 but thats out of stock everywhere too.

I can say from looking at the one Isaac sent me that there are subtle differences from the "standard" carto's I use. For one, in most carto's you have a black metal wire that comes up through the filler. In these drip tip ones the wire appears to be a pinkish color, possibly a different material (ceramic maybe?). The filler is also obviously packed differently. It appears to be a looser packing as I can actually see the layers as opposed to other carto's where it looks like one single mass. They also soak your liquid like a sponge. I was surprised at how much liquid this thing absorbed. The drip tips are very nice, fit perfectly and come on and off very smoothly. I can't give a performance review as I popped mine immediately after firing it. They don't like 6v too much. lol The short draw I did get was very smooth. Not too stiff and not too airy. Once I get a VV mod (hopefully next month) I'll revisit these for performance.

We're cool BH.

@Modrod,

They were never designed for HV. One og the thing Isaac does do is, that even if he had designed a particular carto for HV, he collects the data from the BETA testers and goes back to the drawing board. Any atty will not survive HV when it wasn't designed for it, as far as longevity goes. Used within the prescribed parameters posted, an average vaper should be able to gat at least a month out of an atty. Cartos, well that is a totally different story, since their man design is to use once and dispose of. <---- read original design.

Being one of the 5 Beta tester along with the Great White Bear, switched, my findings are quite similar to his on many of Issacs Attys and cartos, I'm running 2 of my favorite Ikenvapes Mini 2ohm 801' Atty's on 2 VV bottom juice feeding Mods running them around 4.4V, darn are they the best tasting Atty I have ever used and that's no bull, each are on there for 6 weeks now with no lack of performance. I'm also running one HV 306 and one HV-801 on two separate HV Mods at 6v for the same 6 weeks with no drop in performance on all 4 Atty's. I consider myself way ahead of the game already on all 4 of these Atty's and also feel they very well can last another 6 weeks each and they very well may and some. As for carto's I'm also not to big on using them I'm an Atty kind of guy but I have had one of Issac's dripping cartos on a PV now since Issac sent it to me to Beta test about two weeks ago or more and it too is still firing and putting out great vapor and taste. I am absolutely convinced Issac is not only a super nice dude but going the extra mile for the vaping community to provide the up most quality of products and I no longer will go anywhere else to buy my products accept if it's something Issac doesn't carry and if he happens to be out I will wait because I always have plenty of Back up. Kudos to you Issac for doing the very best you can and providing outstanding products to the vaping community

It's simple, you don't need any tools to remove rings/stuff, just pull the drip-tip off and fill. Simple, much easier....wonder why no one ever thought about that before now...
