Just wanted to take the time to say thank you for the Premium 510 cartomizers. I may be in love.

I've been having issues with atomizers for weeks now. First, I was thinking I was buying "genuine Joye 510 atomizers" that turned out to be clones...bad clones. Once I figured that out, I bought genuine Joye 510 atomizers...they performed well for about a week, then performance dropped CONSIDERABLY. My sister (whom I converted to e-cigs back in Nov '09) orders all of her Joye 510 atomizers from healthcabin. She's apparently been having the same issue. They work GREAT...for up to a week, and then they work, but are very low performance. So, I read these forums and came across your 510 cartos.

I ordered Thursday, got them Saturday, and have been pretty darn happy. I have been missing those strong throat hits so much and finally got them back again! I use standard 510 equipment. Typically, if someone wants a hit off my e-cig, I warn them that it'll be like getting kicked in the throat if you aren't used to it (I use 36 mg juice). Well, I knew the lack of performance wasn't in my head when others would take a hit and shrug, say "Hmm" and "Interesting".

Usually, when someone takes a hit off my 510, they hack and sputter and then say, "Whoa! That's strong". I've let my mother and my boyfriend (both of whom partially use e-cigs and partially regular cigs) try the 510 with your Premium cartomizers...Voila, coughing and sputtering. That's my anecdoctal proof that these are awesome.

I will definitely be buying more (in the soft-tip, those are so much easier to remove the cap). I tried them with my drip tip as well as the soft cap. Both are good, but I prefer the soft-cap. And at $1.95, I really feel like I've gotten MORE than my moneys worth. Even if they were only to last a week, I'd still feel like these are the bomb and absolutely worth it.

In closing, THANK YOU. Getting that nice throat hit now, I'm not using my e-cig as a pacifier constantly and I think I'm noticeably less cranky. :) Good job. Keep up the great work. Excellent product. I don't know what else I could say to praise the product more.
Just GREAT Antha! Thank you so much for the praise! How are things going for you now? Hmm I think where Mr.Madness is going might be the right track with the poor record of atomizer performance from both you and your sister in regards to the liquid. Not to mention I didn't see your massive post either!!! You should get 3-6months at best with constant use. Does the liquid that you gals are using from the same company? and do you know if there is more VG than PG involved into the mix? Typically to get the best performance more Pg is necessary than Vg. Where as Vg is almost pure sugar. "As a sugar substitute, it has approximately 27 calories per teaspoon and is 60 percent as sweet as sucrose" In which can cause a nasty black charcoal like build-up directly on the heating element coil and the under mesh on the atomizer making the draw much more stiff. LOL 36mg for a first timer is so cruel!

Couldn't find the answer to this: on the premium soft tip 510 carts there is a second piece of clear plastic inside after you take out the soft tip to fill. Should you remove this piece of clear plastic completely? Certainly makes it easier to fill that way but I'm wondering if it should then be replaced followed by the soft tip? Any tips much appreciated.

FWIW: these have changed my opinion of cartomizers. I think I'm ready to ditch atomizers altogether. Good stuff.

I'm not a big carto user, but when I do use them (like right now), I find that you can leave the inner ring out and they work just fine. With cartos I just put a short driptip on the end after removing the inner ring and outer cap. This makes it easier for me to do frequent topping off, no tools (paperclip etc) of anykind required. Just pull the driptip off and drip down the sides. I guess you could just drip thru the tip too if you like, but I like witnessing how wet the filler is when filling/topping off.

Hey thanks for the quick response. I figured all was ok but thought perhaps there was an explicit purpose for the second plastic cap - perhaps keeps the liquid out of your mouth? Working great though - no liquid in the mouth - without the clear plastic cap.

Jeff

Oh...I'm not a dripper - the less filling I do the better:)

Hi Jeff,
Yep the inner ring is just meant to be a splash guard, no more no less. I personally always fill from the bottom end so it comes in really handy on this side.
