Not trying to be facetious here but clearomisers etc... have made people lazy. e.g folks are looking for visual clues vice using perception, senses and/or vaping habits for "when" to top off. IMHO visual clues could be very mis-leading vice the accuracy of sensory perceptions. When flavour and vapour delivery diminishes, it is time to top off.

That's my problem switcher. My sensory perception isn't sensative enough. At least on the Boges, I couldn't tell it was too low until I got the burnt taste. By then it was too late. It still worked for a while, but was never the same after that. And I don't want to burn these cartos. So I like to see it so I can keep at least the bottom 1/3 soaked. I love it! Haven't burned one yet! (well... except for the mishap with the paperclip)

To clarify something... Isaac, you asked me if they were the black whistle tips, and I just saw black and said that they were just the clears. Here's the correct answer: No, they were the one with the regular white, flat .... tip on them.

Absolutely true Pizza...

When I originally fill a carto I count my drops and translate that into ml. I vape 2-3ml sometimes 4ml a day. Most cartos will take 35-40 drops on initial fill = 1.5ml + given 22 drops for a ml. So in theory a carto should last me most of the day or 4 hrs. That being said there is only 2/3 of initial charge that is vapable as you stated with the clearomiser (visually) this also holds true for the majority of carts/cartos as you cannot vape them dry. I top of about every 3 hours on avg and 4-5hrs on the Bloog Max Fusions.

The other caveat often overlooked is liquid viscosity... I burnt out a 2Ohm 901 in 15 minutes once, I haven't repeated that mistake. I only vape my 901s in a completely relaxed state now. Some folks constantly drip their cartos or refresh them every 10-15 toots. IMO folks believe their is more liquid available for vaping than what is actually there and do not top off frequently enough as it may be inconvenient.

... and yes with time sensory perceptions fine tune themselves. :)

Hey guys, wondering if you can refresh my memory. Which of Isaac's 510 cartos have the coil in the bottom of the carto? I just picked up a SS Liquinator last week and like a suggestion that a bottom coil carto may possibly work better than what it came with. I'm secretly hoping that the answer is the Gold V2... :)

I don't know what kind of coil they have in them but I have a v2 gold in my liquinator as we speak. The taste and vapor are great. I still tend to like the fusions in the liquinator better but these are working great.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've used V2s in the past and liked them a lot, but it's been a while... Is there much or any length difference between the Boge cartos vs. V2s? Also, when you remove your DT after vaping it for a while in the Liquinator, does the top of your V2 carto appear dry or does it look moist? TIA.

Pizza I broke two of them in my pocket. I just pulled the tube off and turned it around worked good until I broke the other end. They are just a little to long for me with the extended pro vari

Hi nitro,

Yes. I was able to do that with the last one. The first one I didn't even think to try it. The second, I tried, but the filler stuck to the plastic and I messed it up. I did get a few more good days out of the third one. But, it was shaky after the first day or so. I'm going to try glue the next time it happens.

Anybody have suggestions on a glue to try? Just good 'ol superglue?

Thanks!
