IKV 901 - What's in it for me?

As with ANY ikenvape atomizer you can be sure that when used properly they will deliver you performance unparalled to any other atomizer. Personally out of all the atomizers Isaac carries I prefer the 901 least. Even still, it is awesome. You should give it a shot and see for yourself.

I haven't used the 901, I know others have and love them. I would strongly suggest adding the i06 (you need the DT with it). It has the best combination of flavor and vapor from any atty I ever used.
Oh yeah, the io6 I know quite a bit about. Love it. But you see, I like lots of things for their unique properties.
I can answer my own question based on my experience with iken 510s, 306s, and io6s: iken 901s are (probably) better than run of the mill. But how and why does iken take 901ness to the next level?

Honestly, I would say just give it a shot really. The same way you discovered the other items would be the best way so you can determine if you enjoy it or not. Anyone can tell you product A is the best thing in the world but like everything, it's all subjective.

Okay Scorched and Isaac, I'll put that secret sauce to the test side-by-side with the cheapos. After I do that I'll come back to this thread and let you know what I think.

Everyone knows I have been an Isaac supporter for a long time, to the point that I have been called a fanboy (water rolls off a ducks back). At the time (Jun 2010) I was looking for something in particular and Isaac was the only one that would offer X with consistency. From there IkenVape just grew. I can no longer be objective in a way, since I don't vape anything else. As Issac states its in the secret sauce...
Outside of the case and threads, each atty has been rebuilt from the ground up. He could offer his wares easily at $11-12 ea and would still outsell many vendors out there. Like anything else you will get the oddball that is faulty, hey Chinese end QA as Scorch is familiar with. But in general, your batting avg will improve with IKV products. BTW I believe he was the first to etch the sides for easy reference wrt resistance
I didn't like 901s in the beginning I do love them now!

Pretty much the same for me as what Switcher said. I've tested and used darn near everything there is and I can't get the quality Ikenvape cartos and attys have. If I could I would because many of the others are cheaper but so is their performance....for me anyway. Call it fanboy if you will but I knew the products before I knew the man.

Here's my reason's
Flavor, Vapor Production, smooth throat hit, and did I mention FLAVOR!!!!! Ever since I tried my first 1.8 stainless LR901 from Ikenvape, I have not found ANYTHING equal to it!!! I do use io6's, 510 cannons, and 801's all on occasion. But most likely you will find an IKV 901 attached to almost every dripping device I own(except switcher's .308, that's always gonna be 801). Seriously though, they produce such thick clouds of vapor, but again I'm a die hard flavor junky, and NOTHING else out there has the flavor of an IKV901(any resistance). I say give em a shot if you're a 901 user, even if you're not, seriously you WONT be disappointed...Just Tat's

Sounds good, i love 901s , but its been a very long time since i had one with great flavour. Time to give ikv a try.
Iken 901's give the most realistic smoking sensation I've found from any atomizer, hands down. I just had an Iken 901 atomizer last me two months of constant vaping as well. And the flavor is always perfect. As well, I've tried many other 901's from other vendors and none compare to Iken's. Do yourself a favor and stock up on these, you won't be disappointed.
Getting a IKV 901 is a little longer process here than in the US. I am a exclusive 901 dripper. And before I went through the process to get one from the US. I thought I'd see what some thought about them. I have a local vendor for IKV, but, he only carries 510, 306 and that fat one with the 801 size DT. If I could find anyone that liked them I'd go through the long distance order. But from what I can see, the people that like IKV likes the 901 the least. So, Snork, what's your 2¢?

... that is because they do not know what an 901 is IMO. 510 = great TH decent flavour good VP. 801 = great flavour, very good vapour and subduded TH. 901 great flavour, very good TH and great vapour. I will not deny that the 901 without a drip shield was a PITA and a balancing act, no = childs play. FWIW, I prefer a 901 over a 306 LR.
901 really came into its own for me when Keith from empire mods sent me my first drip shield. I have since done business with him again and own his mods. My first dedicated 901 mod since the early, early days. I enjoy some 510 stuff, carto tanks and the like. But I love the 901 with a drip shield.

Oh I'm sorry. Yes, I have some IKV 901s. One day I got one out but have been totally distracted.
Today, I promise, I'll begin using an IKV on my brand new Empire Mod. Yes, you heard right.
The Empire came with a bridgeless 901 and I had had a beta of the bridgeless before that - so those are what I've been using lately. Honestly I don't like the bridgless too much. For me they burn the flavor too often. So I'll whip out the IKVs pronto.
I'm not much on bridgeless either mate. I have only ever used them in a 510 and 306 variety. They seem to spit hot juice at me. And I could tell they done little, if anything, for flavour, TH or vapour. I'll check out IKV shipping to Oz to see what I'm up against and await your report. I am leaning in the direction of ordering a couple and commencing the month long wait for them to arrive.

A drip shield for the Iken 901? I've never had issues with my 901's from Iken leaking. Now for all the other vendors' 901's, leaking seems to be the rule and drip shield is a must. A 901 atomizer needs a lot of care when dripping but with proper dripping habits Iken's won't leak a drop IMO.
