I just got these in the mail today to use on my echo battery. I have to say this has got to be one of the best decisions that I have made as a new vaper. I don't have to worry about these messing up the battery since it's 1300 mah and will last for a little while. But, it's to early to tell in that aspect as well as the longevity of these caromizers.

Filled up the first carto with some BWB menthol tobacco. I put in 55 drops of juice and it was fine with little access juice coming out when I blew it out. The second carto I filled with NLV Bounty Hunter which took an amazing 60 drops of juice without any access when I blew it out. So, I find that there is a slight difference in the capacity of juice that these things can hold.

As for performance compared to a regular echo and volt cartomizer (only ones that I have tried this far). One thing I want to say is that the one from volt performs very good for a standard res cartomizer. However, it still doesn't compare to amount of TH and flavor that I get from the LR 808 from IKV obviously. Now, I'm not even going to try to compare the IKV LR to a echo carto. Honestly, they are worlds apart from each other. Echo cartos hold a lot of juice but it's not worth it. The performance is not there. Barely any vapor and TH.

IKV mega LR KR808-D cartos are simply the best that I've tried yet. They give an awesome amount of vapor. I haven't even tried to reach the cutoff on my echo batt. With the Echo cartomizers, I had to do that every single time just to get a decent amount of vapor. Now, moving onto the taste that I get from these cartomizers. It is VERY good but not as good as an atomizer but it is very consistent with every draw that I take. Which is a good selling point to me. Even using an atomizer on a REO grand for example. The taste varies from hit to hit.

Moving on to TH, it's very nice. I'm used to LR vaping and so, I'm very satisfied with what I get. All in all. I plan on getting more of these since I only ordered 5 of them to test them out. Once I get to my last two than I'm going to be ordering more.

Hope you found this review helpful and planning on doing another once I get my 808-D 5v passthrough so I can test out the 808 dual coils.

I found your comments very interesting. I have both an echo and a volt. I'm not especially fond of the echo cartomizers for the reasons you stated, and this sounds like a good alternative for the echo. However, wondering if you can venture a guess on how it may perform with the volt, since that pv has far less mah capacity. Using the volt cartos presently gives about 2 to 3 hours vaping. Much less than that would a problem.

Well, I've only used the IKV cartos on the volt battery for a couple of hits due to curiosity. It performs the same as it would when I used it on the echo batt. Which, I think is great but, I dare not try to use it on there for long periods of time. From what I read all over the forums. LR is not good for normal sized batteries. Even though I have a 78mm batt, it isn't made to have enough power to supply a LR cartomizer. I don't want to risk damaging it. Plus, I would imagine that the battery life would dramatically be reduced as well.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with how much vaping time that a normal volt carto gives. Since, I usually keep two in the pcc or 5 in a pocket buddy (received it as a free gift from nitelitevapor when I made an order). It gives me the option of switching up flavors every few hits. I can't stand vaping the same flavor all day long and in addition, it's better for the carto. Gives it time to wick and prevent it from getting to hot and burn.

I do however plan on trying a volt carto and a 808 dual coil at 5v when my passthrough arrives.

I have an update on using the LR Mega 808 cartos on the volt. Initially I said it would not be a good idea but they seem to be LR 2 ohm which makes them great for the volt. I thought that these were 1.5 ohms or something but, they seem to be 2 ohm since I now use them on my 5v passthrough which makes them into beasts when it comes to producing vapor.

If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me since I don't have a multimeter

I've had about 3 out of 9 Volt cartos pop on me at 5 Volts. Otherwise they have been great cartos.

Regarding the 808 dual coils at 5 volts... If they are 1.5 or so Ohms, that equals about 3.33 Amps of current and 16.7 Watts. I recommend caution.
