I just got these in the mail today to use on my echo battery. I have to say this has got to be one of the best decisions that I have made as a new vaper. I don't have to worry about these messing up the battery since it's 1300 mah and will last for a little while. But, it's to early to tell in that aspect as well as the longevity of these caromizers.
Filled up the first carto with some BWB menthol tobacco. I put in 55 drops of juice and it was fine with little access juice coming out when I blew it out. The second carto I filled with NLV Bounty Hunter which took an amazing 60 drops of juice without any access when I blew it out. So, I find that there is a slight difference in the capacity of juice that these things can hold.
As for performance compared to a regular echo and volt cartomizer (only ones that I have tried this far). One thing I want to say is that the one from volt performs very good for a standard res cartomizer. However, it still doesn't compare to amount of TH and flavor that I get from the LR 808 from IKV obviously. Now, I'm not even going to try to compare the IKV LR to a echo carto. Honestly, they are worlds apart from each other. Echo cartos hold a lot of juice but it's not worth it. The performance is not there. Barely any vapor and TH.
IKV mega LR KR808-D cartos are simply the best that I've tried yet. They give an awesome amount of vapor. I haven't even tried to reach the cutoff on my echo batt. With the Echo cartomizers, I had to do that every single time just to get a decent amount of vapor. Now, moving onto the taste that I get from these cartomizers. It is VERY good but not as good as an atomizer but it is very consistent with every draw that I take. Which is a good selling point to me. Even using an atomizer on a REO grand for example. The taste varies from hit to hit.
Moving on to TH, it's very nice. I'm used to LR vaping and so, I'm very satisfied with what I get. All in all. I plan on getting more of these since I only ordered 5 of them to test them out. Once I get to my last two than I'm going to be ordering more.
Hope you found this review helpful and planning on doing another once I get my 808-D 5v passthrough so I can test out the 808 dual coils.
