I am happy that they want safer packaging..... as long as that is where they STOP! Took me forever to find this. I hope I am not missing anything!

HMMMM...... Lines 3-5....... I'd say big tobacco is exempt.

(430 ILCS 40/2.10 new)
13 Sec. 2.10. Electronic cigarettes. "Electronic cigarette"
14 or "e-cigarette" means a battery-operated device that contains
15 a combination of nicotine, flavor, and chemicals that are
16 turned into vapor which is inhaled by the user.

17 (430 ILCS 40/10 new)
18 Sec. 10. Child-safe electronic cigarette liquids.
19 Electronic cigarette liquids sold and marketed for the
20 refilling of e-cigarettes may be sold only in special
21 packaging. The Department of Public Health shall adopt rules

1 establishing the standards for special packaging to be used for
2 e-cigarette liquids.
3 This Section does not apply to electronic cigarette
4 products sold in sealed, pre-filled, or disposable replacement
5 cartridges.
6 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
7 becoming law.

I'm just not sure why they couldn't wait either. Everyone is in such a hurry to regulate, regulate. They don't even understand the terminology, what they are or which end you put in your mouth! All of my liquids already have child proof caps. I can't even get them off! It's like the ACA......is something else is hiding in the thousands of pages paperwork?????
