OK. So Mistressnomad, in her usual and profoundly wonderful manner, recommends the Kr platform as my first ecig. I go for it and make the order through Vapr4Life. I get the XL starter kit, in purple, because I need to meet my inner pimpness head on. I get some WOW-Cowboy cartomizers tweaked into the order and push the Order Now button. I ambush the mail lady three days later and WHAM, I am hooked on a new and improved habit.

Roll forward one week

I am doing great, but because I am addicted to the forum now, I have to read about all the enhancements, mods, turbocharged bamboozelers, etc. I then decide that I MUST have an EGO. I am sure that It is superior in every respect and only a devout communist would smoke a Kr 80anything.

Roll forward another week

I now have not one but 3 EGO's, 10 bottle of juice, all manner of gadgets that are threaded, chargers out the wazoo and a tackle box.

BUT WAIT

Im vaping on my Vaporking. I like it better. It does not look like a Martian Kazoo and it does not knock me on my ..... I load blank cartomizers with different juices or sometimes I just dig the WOW cartomizers. Maybe I will end up vaping both, but I must be screwed up, because I like the VK better.

You have been hi-jacked by the best! I too tried a couple of mods..old school stuff. But I soon found my bliss with the V4L VK's.
Always keep a battery operated mod in stock for a back-up. But for the rest of the time..V4L's are the best!

That is why I did tons of research before pulling the plug and ordering my first PV. I settled on the VK from V4L and have never looked back. I have never wanted to purchase any other PV

i did the same thing when i first started, and so far no mod ( ive had 3 ) is as good as my VK.

I went the other route. Though I've been tempted to buy the ego. I'm still very intrigued by some of the mods. I've stuck with the Kr8. The big reason I started with E-cigs is to save money. I got in arguments with people that don't like the Kr8 or vaporkings as a supplier until I realized it just wasn't worth it. Now I just read and lurk in most of the forum. I have come to realize I need more then e-cigs so I allow myself one cigar a day, some days though I skip that. Last couple of months I stocked up on cigars. Now with a good labor day sales its time for a couple months supply of carts, couple new batteries and a new pass through.

What I do is simple, economic just not flashy but it works for me

There is absolutely not a thing wrong with being frugal there callofthevapor. Not a damned thing. I really like V4L as a supplier. They have been spot on with my orders. I am sure most all of the forum suppliers are great as well. My experience with Goodphrophets and Backwoods has been fabulous. I feel a bit like a leper for my attachment to the VK, but it simply works for me and simple is a welcome condition. I still pull out the EGO and take a pull or two throughout the day. I think my deal is that the EGO gives me more choices. It is a highly flexible and adaptable PV. There is the problem. It is me, not the EGO. Carto or cartridge. Drip, dip or flip. The EGO Maniac kit came with a vast assortment of cool stuff. I will clearly say that an atty, if you hit the sweet spot with liquid levels and juice selection, is nirvana. I am not great at hitting the sweet spot.

My Vaporking has one accessory. I have a drip tip for it (stolen from the EGO kit) If we have a contest for the simple, put money on me. I am sure to place very high on the podium. I'll be the guy with the Vaporking.

Can't really disagree w/ you. I love my eGo immensely, but I still find myself traveling to KR8 wonderland wondering what I am missing w/ those lost .6volts difference. I will have one, I tell you...I will. lol

I just have never felt the need for anything else. Went to the VK right after Blu. The cartomzers make it versatile as hell. Great vapor, great TH, who could ask for more?

My 510 stuff is getting a lot of use recently, because I have a regulated 510 PT - they only make 5v Kr8 PT's (I don't like 5v - when is someone going to make a regulated Kr8 PT?). But sometimes, the 510 just doesn't do it for me. Neither does a 901. 5v and LR's taste like crap to me.

My little Kr8 is still my favorite.

I love my eGo's but I still use my XL VK's also. It depends on what I want/need at that moment. If I'm not able to carry multiple things with me, I use my eGo and an eGo carto. But for nights out with friends who are smoking, nothing beats my VK with a cute girly drip tip.

I still use my Cool Carts on a daily basis with all my PV's (I use adapters when needed) although I take the stickers off now because they look fabulous naked with a drip tip (hint, hint)
