I'm a newb- Intro...

Hi all,

I've been vaping for about three weeks. I love it..... I got to the point where I hated smoking... I'm down to my last pack. Will not buy more.

I was introduced to vaping a couple of years ago when a friend of mine was in the hospital for 6 weeks- she got an e-cig from Europe. Of course I was skeptical.

So recently I got a smoking stick without knowing there were sites like this. It will do for now.

My main problem with the smoking stick is the battery life and the inconsistent vapor quality- seems to vary based on cartridge.

So last night I ordered a whole lot of vaping equipment:

Joye 510 from Cignot.

And

An Eluma setup.

I smoke a LOT. and even with all the money I spent on e-cigs I spent less than I would in cigarettes this month. But with the above rigs I hope

So I've got all this vaping equipment coming. Can't wait to try it all. I've only got one smoking stick so I have to recharge all the time (like just now).

I'll post reviews of all this stuff when it's here. But avoid Smoking Stick. I'm unhappy with it.

You'll find a lot of good info here.

I started about 18 month ago with something that I found at a truck stop, one day. Back in October, I started mixing my own juice and making my own mods, thanks to this forum. Now, this has become my main hobby. It's like an adiction for me. Half of my office looks like a lab of some sorts.

I recommend the "Pay It Forward" thread, a little down the road. It's a great place to trade out stuff that you're not big on, and try other stuff, before you invest.

510 is a great starter after smokestic even though i dont know anything about smokestiks.im sure the 510 will be a step up,just remember to look at cart mods section.it will double the pleasure.have fun here guilty free vaping.

I just started vaping myself and picked up this bad boy.

Battery seems to go forever and gives a nice big vapour cloud.

Welcome aboard...you're going to love your 510 (genuine Joye since you got it from Cignot). When you start to get tired of recharging your std batteries (only weak point w/ the 510), just go out get eGo batts!

Now go stalk the mailman for your stuff!!

Welcome cozzicon. Yes, you will love your 510. So much like smoking, and soooo many different flavors to use. And shaka808 is right re: eGo. LOL Also about stalking the mail carrier. Lots of wonderful people here to help you.

Hi cozzicon. I started vaping back in February but I've come quite a way with it in 4 short months. I mix my own juice and build battery mods now. I've experimented with 3 of the major models (510, 901 and kr808-D). I use atomizers and cartomizers. I like to think I've learned a lot and I live about 20 miles down M-127 from you. If you have a question or need anything shoot me a PM. I'm always happy to help a new vaper.
Never heard of "Smoking Stick" but I just went to their website and DANG! They want $120.00 for a kit with only one atty and one battery and a PCC? That's crazy.
Oh well, you're here now. A 510 is a much better start and Cignot has a great reputation so you're doin' good now.
