Carts seem to be nothing but problems for both my ecigs. You have to fool around with emptying the half used ones, getting liquid all over the place and all over your hands in the process. Every time I use carts for more than 20 minutes in the Kissbox i get a burning taste. I've even tried snipping off the fiber section closest to the atomizer but every now and then I'll get a drag of burning fiber..not very tasty. The 901 carts don't seem to have that problem but being much smaller in size they don't last very long and need to be topped off all the time. I'm having much better luck just dripping 100% and forgetting about carts. I get more flavor and a better hit by doing it that way so I dont really see the need to use carts. It's not that much of a hassle to drip a few drops in every now and then, and sems to be a lot more consistent. To me it's more of a hassle to maintain carts than to drip. Both the KB and the 901 perform great while dripping, and I haven't had any problems tearing up atomizers doing it (yet). I did have one Janty atomizer go bad but I was only using carts on that one - so it's kind of hard to say dripping will kill them faster. They'll just die when they want to no matter what you do to prevent it. I think I'm sold on drippin' !

i used to hate dripping,it just didnt do it for me....until i started getting my hands on some good eliquid...

i started dripping again in the 901 when i got some totally wicked, and now Smokesters new eliquid too...makes all the difference...

i find its just less hassle,an easier draw, and gives more vapour and taste than using carts-in particular with atomisers which are past their first flush...

so what i do is,i use carts for the first 4 or 5 days of a 901 atomisers life, and after that i drysmoke with it...works for me...and i notice no difference in atomiser life either...

I orderend this one

and the picture of the nebuliser is

but I don't understand how can it atomise the liquid on the cotton

That looks like a DSE901 to me. When you inhale the battery sends current to the coil causing it to heat up. There's a wick inside that that draws liquid from the cartridge. As the coil heats up it vapourises the liquid and that vapour is what you're sucking in.

The air holes inside the mouthpiece are designed to create a low pressure area between the atomizer and the cartridge. This brings the liquid out of the cartridge towards the atomizer. The wool of the atomizer dispenses the newly heated and vaporized liquid into the air which you inhale while simultaneously accepting the new cold liquid coming up from the cartridge. What is left in the atomizer wool when you stop inhaling is what you will inhale first when you go to inhale again.

I'm not really fond of emptying the carts. I have a separate bottle that I drain them into and the liquid tastes foul to me. (I've been doing it for back up but, meh, not sure it's worth it to me.)

I just refill the carts with my favorite liquid and pitch it when I've exhausted it's usefulness.

OT: Anyone else notice that the density of the material in the cartridge and the viscosity of the liquid are really important to the volume of vapor and the incidence of "juice in the mouth"? I noticed this with Janty cartridges. Their cart material seems to be less dense and I keep getting "sips" of liquid.

Hi,
As I still don't recieved my e-cigarette, I can't see.
I saw a picture of a e-cig piezoelectric nebulizer ( atomizer ) but I don't understand how can this metallic triangle can atomize the liquid on the cotton, do you know ?

OK, the metal triangle isn't what atomizes the liquid. It's basically a wick, and just transfers the liquid from the cart to a ceramic pot underneath it. The pot contains steel wool filling (usually) and a heating coil. The heating coil is what vaporizes the liquid. The Ruyan V8 uses a piezoelectric ultrasonic ceramic element instead of a heating coil, but I doubt any cheap Health brand does. Yours probably just has a heating coil. THey just copied the text about piexoelectronic technology from a ruyan ad or something.

Hello,
I just recieved my E-cigarette,
When I suck it withouth any cartidge it makes a loud sound "CRRRR" and it make smoke but there is nothing in the cartidge ! Do you know why ?
Thanks

Because there is still a small amount of liquid in the atmizer. The crackling sound is normal.

hi Gep....see your point but to me, it seems you waste a lot of usable juice by just throwing away the carts. A lot of times they are still half full when the performance goes down on them. That's one good thing about dripping you don't waste any liquid.

Yeah, but when you've kept one cartridge topped off for 2 or 3 days, the bit of juice left over isn't much in proportion.

Thanks for your answer,
But is it normal that it is the only first type the e-cigarette is used, and I never put cartidge on it and it make alot of smoke, I did just 5 puff and there is still alot of smoke.

Can it be beacause they tryed the cigarette at the factory ?
