In summary;

buy a higher nicotine content juice. (5 bucks for a bottle of some good 24mg stuff?)

Buy a low resistance cartomizer/atomizer. (8 bucks for a five pack of Boges?)

4.8V is more than enough to get to the "extreme" of vaping. (keep yer damn twist, it works!)

Throwing money at large, expensive, shiny phallic shaped PV's should not be your first course of troubleshooting when you have a perfectly good, transportable battery already.

Yeah, that's important. You'll burn through a 1000mAh battery like it was a pen battery! Single coil, single coil.

When your first transitioning; getting that "cig break" experience down is first and foremost to success. Follow the simpler advice in this thread before buying an expensive MOD. Also, I would HIGHLY suggest to the OP to maybe even buy another eGo twist, or Vision twist, as it sounds like he/she doesn't have a backup!

When I was quitting smoking, the first time I caved in was because I wasn't vaping strong enough stuff. I held out, until my first night out drinking; the weak stuff I was vaping just couldn't hold a candle to an analog and my alcohol numbed throat.

The second time I caved in was when my battery ran out, and I didn't even own a backup! I was miles away from my eGo charger at home, and a frantic nic-fit trip to a gas station was all I could do to avoid turning into the Hulk.

I truly believe there is a setup out there that will satisfy anyone, any ex-smoker.

Yeppers indeed! I'm a Pack a Day converted to vape. My set up is a few different styles:
- Kanger Protank with basic 1.8 - 2.5 ohm atty range (I like these better on the eGos).
- eVic with a low resistance carto or low resistance atty for dripping.
- a couple of carto tanks at low to standard resistance on either the eGo or the eVic.

EDIT:
- One thing that helped me was finding a juice that I could really look forward to: Cola. I like how it's a little sweet and a little spicy with a TH that I can handle with different inhale techniques. I can draw this flavor straight into the lungs or do the mouth fill method. I know find myself thinking about the Cola flavor, and craving it instead of analogs.

So i took everybodys advice and converted it to a low resistance carto.. sibgle coils...WHAT A DIFFRENCE...
Aswell i used my 24mg nicotine and i can honestly say it work fine..a tad to harsh so i got some 12mg liquid in a Dr Pepper flavor.
And it is working good for a EDC

Aswell..the smoke shop i visited down here i bought a MOD
The mechanical K100 with a RBA IGO-W

Now...i think im addicted to Mechanical mods..altho i use my ego as a back up for when my 3 batteries are charing or dead...i bought a kit that has a 650 and a 350 and purchused a 490

I love the plooms of smoke and the full lung inhales i can get to break the mouth to throat hits..

I at first tried a 12mg on it the same i use in my ego..but found the nicotine level to harsh...so i went to 6 mg...

So it breaks down to this.... at home i use the K 100 with the RBA and 6mg juice

Out and about i use the Ego t with the low resistance cartos 12 Mg juice


Soo far..im happy..but i dont know if i can keep with the variable voltage.. i think i might buy another mechanical.....

So now i propose a new question?

What mechanical mod would be my next step.... price point around $120.
So i can take my K100 out with me and keep the new one at home....
