REMOVE them?? How? And if there's no wick...well I'm really new to this so I just don't get it. None of the
mods have worked for me either LOL.
If you remove the bridge the silver piece on the atty you won't be able to do anything but drip. There is a video around here someplace that shows how to do it. But it's really not that hard you just have to be carefull.
If you have an atty that you can't get right start with it. You take something like a toothpick or a chopstick and lightly push the bridge over on it's side. The coil is what makes an atty function, it's like a fillament from a lightbulb. It's directly under the bridge, if you break it there is no way to fix it. Once you have pushed the bridge to the side you lightly push it around until you can pull it out with a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers, this includes the little metal peace that holds it in place. If it's not pulling up don't force it at all. You can pull up the coil and disconect it. Just work it around some more untill it comes free.
This has worked great for me and many others. without the bridge you will be dripping straight onto the coil. You should get a slightly bigger hit and the burnt taste will go away.
It's not as hard as it sounds but it is really important to do it gently. I have not killed an atty yet doing this (knock on wood) Just take your time. About a third of the people prefer dripping so it's not for everyone. However, it makes things much easier for me.
If anyone can find the video please post it.
