I once went outside and pulled some spearmint out of the ground, put it in a jar with VG. Let it sit for only 4 or 5 days, ran it through a strainer and vaped it. I didn't know at the time to use distilled water to make it more vapable, but it still worked well through a prehistoric carto. If I added nic I would really have something I now think. At least I know what I put in it. So now I'm making a Chamomile vape the same way, also some tea flavors. Needless to say the spearmint is all over the place. Just wanted to share.

So, .... is spearmint a plant?

Yes it is, so is chamomile. There is also catnip and along creeks you can find what is called in Appalachia frog mint. Frog mint is a mint type of plant. I'm sure it has a proper name, can only recall what our mimmy called it to us kids. We used to gather it for her to use in tea. Spearmint if left to itself can grow rampantly wild. Most herbs can really. Kind of been looking toward someone having a rhubarb flavored juice, or a ramp flavored one.

Glad @Vic Vape shared how they are doing this. It helps to understand extracting flavors is a bit less complex than one imagines. Shows a lot of potentiality for experiments. It also shows that there might be some value to having a basic understanding of herbalism, too. Would imagine one could use colt's foot in a vaping solution and possibly vape tussin, which is found in cough medicines such as Robotussin. It is an expectorant, meaning it'll draw out phlegm and mucus when you have a cold. Yarrow might be good for the ladies to vape during their monthly visits of mother luna, it helps ease these a bit as well as being a natural way to lower fevers.

Oh darn, now there is a whole field of interesting to explore. He he he! :)

New York (no, not the city)
This reminds me of something I've been thinking about for awhile.

It's a cartoon I saw in an old Mad Magazine. An advertisement for cigarettes with threaded, add-on filters containing different medicines, vitamins and other beneficients. The last panel was a guy smoking one of these with like forty filters on it, holding the end up with his foot. It got me to thinking about using vapor as a medicine or remedy delivery system - since PG is already a component in things like inhalers.

Soooooooooooooo..............You wash it well first, just in case a Dog peed or something else, right?

Oh nah, just let the dog tinkle be on there. Adds more character to the overall profile of how it werks. :pervy:

Yes, you rinse and wash with cold water. I would not use soap, or if you do only very light amounts. Allow to air dry or blot dry with paper towel. Depending how you want to infuse into the juices you may want to dry the herbs / veggies / fruits and crush to powder. Fine powder it seems would be good to infuse into a solution of juice base, your pg/vg and nicotine. May be good to suspend it in a bit of water and then mix into juice solution. You may also make teas from adding the herbs to warm water, then use the tea to infuse.
