So last night was rough....one of my attys started tasting really really bad. No matter what I vaped after 2 or 3 drags a metallic burnt taste would come...even though I would drip before putting a full cart on. I couldn't get that taste out of my mouth all night even after switching to a clean atty.
This morning I blew the "bad" atty out then used boiling water. I suspended the atty in a strainer in a pot while the water boiled for about 10 minutes. Since hot water facilitates air drying, I let it dry for 4 hours or so. I made sure there was no water by blowing it out again - -no moisture present. I just dripped some of my 555 and AHHHHHHHHH...that heavenly taste of nuttiness came through....no weird taste. I'm gonna put the atty to the test now and vape (heavily
) with it all day just to make sure everything is cool!
