I unfortunately didn't have a guide, so I was buying pieces here and there for the tornado/eGo battery and was wasting more money because I was trying different things...I learned from my mistakes and purchased things on impulse. A lot of attys were thrown away, and a lot of wasted carts were tossed. I finally read more and went with the eGo battery, drip tip, 510 atty, or 510LR (low resistance atty), and standard cone that came with the eGo (titanium). I didnt get too hung up on the mega attys, and mega carts because I was and always will be a dripper so I'm fine with dripping onto a regular sized atty. The great thing about the eGo/Tornado is the 510 fitting, it is not custom, so tons of different options are available since it does not have a proprietary connection like some PV's do.

I'm currently waiting on some eGo cartomizers for my 'nader. I'm hoping they turn out good. As with all things vaping, one review gives praises, while the next dogs it. I chose cartos because I have a long commute to work and dripping is a hassle. But yeah, I know what ya mean. a certain ego atty doesn't work with regular eGo's, the cone won't fit with certain carto's, can't charge a 510 with an ego charger, LR atty's burn out too fast, or maybe they don't, it depends on how the vendor is feeling that day...

I'm in no way affiliated with the site, but I too have a long commute. I hate cartridges and cartomizers....

A. they leak
B. You need a syringe to fill them, cartomizers
C. regular blank510 cartridges leak a lot when constantly vaping, and overheat if using an LR atty.
D. you can fill the carty's by filling up the rubber cover, and soaking the battery end the liquid will get absorbed through the atty
E. The mega ones are kinda cool, they claim to hold 2.5ML of juice, I suggest getting a LR mega cart. it covers the entire end of the eGo, it's a atty/cone/cartridge all rolled into 1, which make t very cool to carry and the juice lasts for at least 3 hours with constant vaping on a full cartridge .

I suggest going to TW, or AV and getting one. Here is a picture of of yhat too.

E. or you can buy one of these, which look really convenient.

Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

I plan on getting one as soon as they are available. Since i'd only be using it in the car and at home (not at work since i can drip there ) I dont mind it looking the way it does, which is not ugly, it's just "different"

have a look, it looks cool and there a a few cool features for such a simple mod/add-on.

Look at this picture, it looks cool as hell

here is the eGO mega with regular ATTY, no LR.

No need to be confused. :) Here's all the combinations of what you can stick on the battery, basically.

510 atomizer, with either a 510 cart or 510/901 drip tip. Can be used with cone.

510 cartomizer, of any brand or model. Can be used with cone.

eGo Mega atomizer, with eGo Mega drip tip or eGo Mega cart. Can't be used with cone.

eGo Mega cartomizers. Can't be used with cone.

... in addition

510 mega atty and mega carts with cone, not to be confused with the eGo mega attys and carts as they are 510 but do fit the eGo.

Dumb question, still new here, I am going to assume that eGo and Riva parts pieces ect.. are compatible with each other? batteries seem to be cheaper for the Riva, not by much but every penny helps, also the Riva batts are 750mah instead of 650mah.

Would there be any downside to getting Riva parts for my eGo?

Quality may be a concern but other than that are all parts are interchangeable.

Best way to think of it is that eGo & Riva are the batteries that usually have threading to accept 510 atomisers. So the batteries are interchangeable.

For instance my kit includes: eGo 650mah, Riva 750mah, eGo 900mah and my latest the eGo battery passthrough.
Onto all of these I can use standard 510 attys & carts, XL 510 attys & carts, Mega 510 (Cone shaped) atty & cart and 510 cartomisers. I can use the standard Cone with everything except the Mega atty but sometimes I choose to leave the std Cone off.

Long way to a short answer, Yes all interchangeable. I have'nt noticed any descernible difference in quality between Riva & eGo.
