were do I buy a Riva is it a whole kit? Or just battery

If you buy the "lite bundle" kit from the link that I posted you'll get the whole kit for $29.99, including 2batteries, 2atomizers, 5blank cartridges (which you won't use if you are dripping) and the charger. Then you just need a mess of juice and I'll recommend a drip tip or two (they're not expensive).

For the juice; most people end up using somewhere around 18-24mg juice and go through about 3ml per day. It's always best to get a whole bunch of sample sizes in different strengths and flavors though until you figure out what will work for you -- we are all different there.

As long as all your gear says "eGo" or "510" you'll be fine.

There are just so many choices. If I knew then what I know know...I would buy a NoEgo 18650 from jazzpipe for $35, invest another $17 in a couple 18650 batterys and another $15 in a battery charger, a couple atty's and your all set...you will be vaping like a seasoned vapor...as good a hit as a Silver Bullet...and you wont go brok with this set up...Just an idea...

I just purchased the Riva 510 lite package got 2 drip tips, 1 more cone and 2 small bottels of juice. I also found a promo code for %10 off it came to $50 Thank you guys I'll let you know what happens

I think you made a good choice.

Just remember that a E-Cig without juice is about as useful as a car without gas.

That said, I wouldn't have bought much more juice with the kit either, but I'd probably buy some more from a different vendor so I could start sampling flavors.

I just started like yesterday, haven't had a real cig. since - LOL. I didn't realize there were so many dozens of choices, but even the few i DID know about confused the crap outta me. so i just went ahead and ordered one of the starter kits from VP4life -. I do have to say their instructions et. are pretty pitiful, and the website is not much better. I am sure it makes perfect sense for all the oldtimers , but for a noob it is a mess of confusing and contrary info. what is premium, vs. vg, vs. WOW, everythinh else I am getting pretty famililar with (took awhile to figure out what a "pass-through" was or what it was for . found a video and got that). They did send me some sample carts that was not on the list of items. unfortunaly i ordered the same level as the cigs i was smoking which was ultra-light (4 mg)- should a went a little higher I guess.

If I were starting today I'd go to the classified section on this site, buy a 510 starter kit from a reputable seller that comes with cartomizers, charger and minimum 2 batteries and some juice. Many upgrade quickly and you can save a lot of money. I bought mine at the mall ans spent $190 when I could have spent $25 - $40 for something 10x better. Oh, well. It worked :) Don't be afraid to ask questions. The people here are fabulous.

Questions, hmmm. you guys are always using terms like 505, 808, not sure what this is - a brand, a size, ???

emforce

Those refer to the connection between the battery and atomizer. It tells you what works with what. Not every 510 compatible part works with every other 510 compatible part, but most do. For example, an eGo battery (510) won't work with a 401 atomizer without an adapter. So, if you have something like an eGo, you look for 510 atomizers as it is a 510 connection.

Yes, it basically refers to thread size and compatibility. 510 parts go with 510 stuff and KR808D1 parts go with KR808D1 stuff. There are a couple of BUT's though:

eGo, Riva (and some others) are 510 threaded-are basically big battery 510's, so you can use 510 stuff on those. AND: 510 batteries can take 306 atomizers, KR808D1 batteries can take 901 atomizers. There are also other model numbers: E9, KR808D2, and here's a confusing one... M40x - the "x" means the unit could be either a M401, M402, or M403.

MOST fancy expensive (read: rip off) rebranders buy the E9 or KR808D2 and rename it and sell it for way too much money, it pays to do your research before buying anything new.... especially if they spent a bunch in snazzy advertising, guess who pays for that?

And what are WOW,Premium, VG, PG - this may be V4L only question , so....

Not sure what wow and premium have that's so special, I've tried both and can't decipher a huge difference.

VG: vegetable glycerin: mutes the flavor and throat hit but provides huge vapor.
PG: propylene glycol: provides crisp flavor and big throat hit, but not as much vapor.

Most people like a mix of about 80%PG and 20%VG - and many juice vendors will offer to mix it in whatever ratio you like.

Good Luck!
