Ok, so here is what I've got on order:

1. Little Chuck 510
2. 4 batteries and battery charger (16340)

I WAS going to order juice from DIYflavorshack, but wow that's expensive.
Now I just need atomizers and cartridges (flat-tip). Where do you guys
order them from? I want to make damn sure my first E-cig is put together
correctly. lol

How long does a typical cartridge last? I'm planning on buying juice for refills and I'm
trying to get a feel for how much I'll be spending.
(I've read that a cart holds about .6ml)

Also, what is the juice like from Heavengifts compared to DIYflavorshack. The price
difference is HUGE. For 36ml from DIY, it's almost $40. For 30ml from Heaven, it's only
$9. So, what's the quality difference?

Mc... I would buy your attys from a US supplier. I've got nothing against heaven gifts, but you will wait a while longer. And every time I order from them, I end up having to go to the post office to pick up (they require sig on delivery and I'm never home when it comes.)

As far as the juice... I can't stand China juice anymore. I started with it and didn't have a problem with it until I tried some US made juice. Can't go back now.

If this is going to be your first vaping experience, I would definitely recommend you order some juice (and attys if you want) from Nhaler.

I would also strongly recommend against buying 30ml of anything that you have not tried. Juice taste is very dependent on the individual user. You are not going to know what you will like until you try it. I've got a couple dozen bottles of stuff in the fridge that I bought and will probably never vape (unless I lose my job or something).

Get small bottles of several different flavors and figure out what you like before buying 30+ml bottles. Nhaler has small 6ml bottles, so it's easy to sample. Another place that's good is JohnsonCreek. They have a sampler with 10 3ml bottles of all ten of their flavors for 21 bucks.

Also.. you may be tempted to get only tobacco flavors, but don't be afraid to go with some other flavors too. That's one of the best things about vaping compared to smoking. Lots of variety on flavors.

Sorry that was kinda long. Just trying to help you start off right:)

hehe. Yea, that's why I'm buying stuff now... so it gets here (hopefully) about the same
time as my Little Chuck.

As for the juice... man, the price difference is HUGE. You say don't get 30ml... but really,
what if I get the 6ml and don't like it? I've still paid a LOT more than I did for that 30ml
bottle from Heavengifts. From what I've been able to figure, if I order juice from
somewhere like DIYflavorshack, I'll be paying more than I did to smoke analogs. Ouch.

Unless you were smoking 2-3 cigs a day that's not going to happen. I vape constantly and I only go through a 1-2ml a day. So a $4-6ml bottle of juice is going to last me anywhere from 3-6 days. I smoked 2 packs a day, so I was spending $10 a day on analogs. Even buying small bottles at higher prices, I will only spend .75 to $1 a day on juice. That being said, I know what I like and can buy 30ml 50ml, etc knowing I'm going to use it, that brings it down to 50cents a day or lower.

My point is this... If you get a 5- 6ml bottles for $20 and don't like a couple of them, you're out 8 bucks, but still have juices you like to vape. If you buy one 30ml bottle of something you save 5-10 bucks on the order, but if you don't like the juice, you're out all of the money you spent. And may even be turned off to the whole vaping thing, in which case, you're out $100+ (since you are starting with a Chuck) plus all the dough you are going to continue spending on analogs.
I don't know your exact situation, maybe you've already vaped a friend's e-cig and know you liked whatever juice he had. If this is true then go ahead and get the 30ml. If this is not the case, I would again strongly recommend against ordering a 30ml bottle.

Everyone is different, but for me, even my absolute favorite juice this week will probably not be a month from now. I've been vaping for a while now and I still order new flavors in 6ml bottles to try different things. Don't get me wrong there are flavors that have stood the test of time and I've got 50, 100, 250 ml bottles of those. The more I'm sure that I like a flavor the bigger bottle I will order.

This is just my opinion and experience.

Hopefully some others will chime in here and back me on it.

Like I said before, I just want to help you start off right.

Edit: Maybe do this... get the 30ml for 9 bucks from china and get 3- 6ml bottles from Nhaler for 12 bucks. Then you've only spent 21 dollars and can decide for yourself.

BTW: I think heaven gifts charges 8 bucks for slowboat shipping (up to 20 days to get) and $12 for "express" shipping (7-10 days to get).
You will have the stuff from Nhaler (or any other US supplier) about 2-3 days after you order.

Edit2: I take back that first statement...if you smoke 2-3 cigs a day a 6ml bottle is going to last you 2-3 weeks ;)

Yea, don't get me wrong... I'm not .....ing at you for making a suggestion- I appreciate
all input. I'm just saying that the dollar figure I was looking at for juice is VASTLY different
ordering from someone here in the states compared to that Heaven site. Is there actually
that much difference in quality?

As for the atomizers and carts... can someone link to a reliable (inexpensive) site?
IE: That actual product. Again, I'm trying to make damn sure my assumptions don't
leave me stuck with unusable equipment. My assumption being that I can just order
Joye Tech 510 atomizers and carts like this:
http://shop.nhaler.com/product.sc?productId=49&categoryId=17
http://shop.nhaler.com/category.sc?categoryId=16

IMO, yes, that much difference in quality. But that's just IMO. But look at it this way...
30ml bottle from China $9 plus $12 shipping (if you don't want to wait a month for it)= $21
30ml from Nhaler $18 plus $7 shipping=$25
That's a $4 difference. Now, a 30ml bottle is going to last you (probably) 2-4 weeks. (We'll just say 16 days for the sake of easy math). So, you are going save a quarter a day getting the juice from the China. Now I should ask, what brand do you smoke? Are you buying those generic, no name, black and white label, cheepies? Or are you buying real cigs? The difference there is way more than a quarter a day.

That being said, I'm a miser that smoked Basics to save a few bucks on a carton, but I don't order juice from China.;) Parts from china are fine(when I don't mind waiting), but I don't like the thought of having no idea of the QC going on with something that I'm going to put into my body. (you remember the lead laced toys right?) Plus I think China juice tastes sour and tainted after vaping the good stuff.

As for the atomizers and carts... can someone link to a reliable (inexpensive) site?

Yes, those will work. 510 is 510 (at east when it comes to compatibility). You can buy a 510 atty and carts from anywhere and it's going to work n your Chuck. BTW: I don't recommend prefilled carts, especially if you are getting juices. You always pay a little more for pre-filled.

mist-stix.com has 30ml bottles or $9, probably from China, but there's a special on small samplers (10 ml, 26 mg, 17 flavors availabe) for $3.50 each (you have to use coupon code ECF to get the lower prices). I'd suggest buying at least half a dozen samplers of different types of flavors, because you have no idea yet what kinds of flavors work best for YOU. AND your sense of taste will improve over the first couple of weeks you are off analogs.

Most of those samplers from Mist-stix are tobacco flavors but there are some fruit flavors like banana, cherry, and strawberry.

Personally I find the pre-filled generic tobacco carts pretty bland. But I like 555, RY4 and Hilton tobaccos (and I also love Drewbacco from Nhaler).

moststix and heavengifts aare same juice-was actually my juice of choice until I tried nhaler. I say start cheap-get to know ur flavors, then go for the exspensive juice...im not saying anything against Highpings suggestion at all....(love ya HPing ;;)) Im just saying thats what I did to feel it all out. Ive ordered parts from alot of sites and found that my parts from hgifts are just as reliable than all the rest-same marking and brands and all. I DO buy Nhaler juice now, but still get all parts except my faithful chucks from hgifts, as Ive NEVER had any DOA issues, bad juice or attys that popped on me. I still have a working atty from my first kit from June from them. They have excellent customer service and shipping (the cheap option) takes 2 weeks to the day every time to NC.... Im just saying for a beginner Id start out cheap, get to know what u like, then move to higher quality/prices..Kinda like drinking wine. We all (well, most) start out drinking wine coolers n boones farm before we go out n buy that $40 bottle of Conundrum ;)

and yes, we ALL agree prefilled carts=yucky! get the empty blank ones:)

WTF? We do shops do this crap?

Nhaler doesn't sell empty carts.
Then, DIYflavorshack sells 510 atomizers, but no 510 carts.

Anyone know of a good one-stop-shop location? I'm tired of going back and forth between
multiple sites.

Nevermind. I'll just stock up like crazy from China. It's going to be a while before my Chuck
is made and sent, anyhow.

Nhaler is probably the only exception to the 'no pre-filled carts" rule.
Usually you pay a way inflated price for pre-filled carts. Nhaler is selling them at a normal blank cart rate.

Also, most pre-filled are filled with a China juice and have probably sat idol for a long period. That's why most taste don't very good. The Nhaler pre-filled are freshly filled with Nhaler Juice.

I would just get the carts from wherever you are getting your attys. You don't want to have to pay a separate shipping fee for a five dollar order of carts.

BTW: I'm not just trying to push Nhaler on you. Any US juice maker is going to have better juice than a China company.
Also, keep in mind that just because it's a US 'supplier' doesn't mean it's US juice maker. I won't call out any suppliers by name, but a lot of US suppliers are just reselling DeKang juice. Some even put their own label on, but I can still spot a dekang just by smelling it. They all have a sour milk kind of smell.
In general though, dirt cheap= dekang juice.

I was running on one atty with some horrible backups and ended up ordering my 510 attys from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store., they had a 3 pack of attys for 25.00, I added some juice to the orders and then 5 dollars in shipping.

I would really like to try nHaler juice one day, and may bring myself to do it and like it, but its a little costly along with the fact that every order is 10 in shipping! I understand he has great turn around time, but did mist-stix.com and i only paid them 5.95 and got the order in less than 2 days.

FOR JUICE---I have been looking at Tasty Vapor - Home 50 cents a mil add shipping is what I like to pay for my juices on the average, but doing that, I have a plethora of china juices that I don't care to vape. I love Johnson Creek, but am looking at tasty vapor for my fruity tasty vapes.
