Maybe someone can find a DIY for making batteries out of regular rechargeables and stuff that she has available in her country.

Still good with batts, I've been able to get some original ones, and a flashlight mod is on its way, powered by protected 18650. They're so cheap here, used to rebuild notebook battery packs. 3.7v are enough for most attys.

Got ya now... Problem is two parts: I no longer have a credit card, credit card expenditures abroad are now charged with 15% tax (deductible from your Bienes Personales at the end of the year, which I don't pay), and, of course customs. I might get lucky and just pick it up from the mail office, OR have to go to Ezeiza customs to pick it up (oh yes, gets worse).

Seems Kanger T2 are working for the time being. Last week I was in despair... We'll see, there are bad days and good days.

Yes, I know all about the 15% tax, the dollar restrictions, and of course, the "blue" dollars. I love my country, but Cristina isn't doing very good decisions, to say the least.
I just sent a package to my sister last week and she went to aduana, I believe, and paid nothing. She bought something with her credit card regardless of the 15%, and then I sent it to her. I mean, you can still buy and get the things, but not the regular way. You can buy something, make it ship to a person here in the US, and then this person would send the things to you declaring it as a gift. Seems complicated, but it's possible.
Edit: I don't know if you would save a lot of money this way...

Have you thought about maybe a Genesis style rebuildable that uses 18650 or 18350 batteries you can get locally, and maybe making your own juice? I use a Zenesis mini on top of my ego type stuff for out of the house. If the entire industry came to a stop in the US, I can still get kanthal wire, SS mesh, 18350s and chargers, and I can get PG, VG, flavorings at the grocery store. The only thing I'd have to worry about it finding a good farmer's supply to get nic from.

There are some "buy in the US and we'll ship them to you". They charge 25 dollars a kilo plus customs. I'm planning a pilot buy from DiscountVapers and see what happens but not until later in the month. 100 bucks of clearos and supplies is FAR cheaper than buying them here. Batts are still available, but mods are way too expensive.

I was talking to an Argetine ex-Pat the other day about Mate flavored eJuice. Would you ever use a Mate Flavored eJuice?
Sorry, off topic.

Sorry to hear Argentina does what it does with the importation of goods and how the government wants to screw it's citizens out of money.

I'm vaping on a flue cured tobacco that reminds me of caramel burnt mate (a delicacy in the upper provinces). It should be sweet, but it's the closest thing I can think of that vapes like mate.
