Hey all, new to vaping and ecf.
Used this site a ton already for reviews and recommendations and everyone seems very helpful.

Just placed an order at Canvape.com and was a little hesitant to use them since they only accept etransfers and moneybookers (which I've never heard of)

Placed my order and had a question so I sent off an email before I finished my etransfer and I got a response within 5 minutes and that put my mind at ease.

Currently I'm vaping on an aspire nautilus mini that I purchased in a kit from a local vape shop (hot shot vapour) and I quit smoking the same day I got it (usually a pack a day)

After using the aspire for about a week I wanted to upgrade and get more flavour and vapour, was told to look at sub ohm setups since I've already cut down from 18mg of nicotine to 3mg. Prices seemed a little steep at my local shops so I thought I'd do a little research online before I made my next purchase and found online to be a considerable amount cheaper.

I decided to go with an Innokin MVP 3.0 box mod and a Kanger Subtank Plus as it allows me to start making my own coils and still provides me with the ability to just use replacement coils from Kanger themselves. Also grabbed a rather inexpensive enigma rebuilable RDA which I've been told will allow me to smoke some {Other Stuff}. Along with an ohm tester and a few drip tips and replacement kanger coils in both 0.5 and 1.2 ohms since I'm still not 100 % on the differences.

Just wondering if I made a good investment and figured I'd get more active on these forums since I've been obsessing over vaping since my original purchase of the aspire.

That's a solid set-up for sure. Welcome to the Vaping World. Check out Fasttech for great deals, but shipping is a bit long. You can save a fortune though. Don't buy anything with less than 4 stars minimum. Read the reviews of the products. They sell clones and authentics for most vaping items. Have Fun and never underestemate the power of Youtube.

To be honest I'd prefer to support a local shop to help the industry grow in my city, the shops I did visit prior to my online purchase just weren't very helpful when it came to answering my questions, I probably did ask some pretty dumb questions so that might be why. The first guy that sold me my nautilus was awesome but he quit before I came back to ask about upgrades. Seemed like everyone in the store were new to vaping themselves which is probably the case considering the turnaround rate in retail jobs.

I've found some shops are just there to get a bite of the vaping boom money as well, unfortunately.
Knowledge should certainly be a big key in the employment process, but unfortunately there are shops that don't pride on that and it will eventually put someone in serious risk or seriously disappoint. :(

I have had to moderate your first post. We are an ecig forum and as such, we pretty much require the discussions to be only on typical e-liquid that consists of nicotine/pg/vg/flavor. Please read the link below to help you understand why we have this rule in place:

Why we don't allow drug talk | E-Cigarette Forum

Thanks for understanding :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm glad I came across this community as everyone has been very friendly and helpful.
I apologize for my drug related comment in my first post, was definitely not trying to break any rules and i can definitely understand why these rules exist, especially with the current bills trying to be passed. Won't happen again.

I figured I'd buy both the 0.5 and 1.2 ohm coils to test both out and see what I like more. Has anyone tried the clone replacement coils for the kanger Subtank? I saw a pack of 10 for roughly the same cost of the 5 pack of the official kanger replacements but couldn't find a review or any comments regarding them so I thought I'd stick with the official ones. I plan on making my own coils so this may end up being irrelevant anyways haha.

Speaking of making my own coils, I've heard mixed opinions on buying my materials off eBay. Any feedback on this would be much appreciated, along with recommendations for learning how to make coils? I've been watching YouTube videos pertaining to this all day haha

Thanks again for the warm welcome.
