OK so, I'm not that great at math and I'm trying to make e-liquid. Bad mix.
My problem is I don't understand the decimals....

When my recipe calculator calls for 1.5ml... What does that mean?
Does that mean: One and One Half ml? Or does it mean 1 and then halfway up to the next 20 line?
Because on my syringe, if you count by 20s, theres 5 lines to the next ml....
so is the .5 half way to the next little line?
I'm guessing .5 is half a ml, but i'm not sure. I made juice thinking it was half a ml and it came out strong.

Can someone help me figure out the decimals in DIY juice making?
Please and thank you in advanced? :)

Hi Plumes.91, it does mean one and one half ml when 1.5ml is called for. If that's too strong then you can always adjust the recipe for your taste and share your findings with everyone else since we might find it to be better than the original recipe.

If you really don't understand decimals and what it means in measurement, you shouldn't try to deal with diluting stronger nicotine solutions. Buy the strength nic solution you want to vape and add flavorings to it. Make small batches and measure flavorings in drops. It is too easy to make a serious mistake when dealing with strong nicotine solutions and large volumes of fluid.

I use safety goggles because I am already vision impaired. I will definitely start reading more of the stickies.
I only use 48mg nicotine solution and I follow my e-liquid-calculator to create my own recipes. I'm doing well.
I've made a very light RY4 and a really good key lime pie thus far, and my calculator allows me to save recipes.
I'd like to get a box of gloves but I haven't gotten out of the house, so I reuse the same pair of thick cleaning gloves. Just needed to clear that up since sometimes the flavors seemed too strong for me.

I'm going to have to agree here. It seems like you need at least a rudimentary understanding of decimals in order to safely do these things. i am not trying to insult you ...but am concerned for your safety

heres a site that attempts to simplify these concepts
