For a while I've been using the perfumer's apprentice rasberry flavor and I found it to be VERY powerful, both in smell and taste. After being around the extract for a while I found myself almost being nauseous when I got a wiff of it.

I finally found some lorann flavorings at a arts in crafts store (kind of like a Michaels).

I picked up the rasberry, cherry and cinnamon flavoring and I just tested out the Rasberry and it's AMAZING!

It's kinda sweet and there is a little tartness to it.

I mixed 30 drops of unflavored 36mg PG from madvapes, 50 drops of store bought glyceron and 20 drops of Lorann's rasberry flavoring and it came out great! I didn't even have to seep it either.

If you like Rasberry flavors you HAVE to try this one out :D

I'm sure there are many lorann flavor reviews out there, but I just had to give me input!

PS. The cinnamon flavoring I bought is said to be Non-soluble on this forum. Anyone have any experience using this stuff and how to mix it successfully? I knew a guy who used to use it, but he's not around anymore. I'm kinda afraid to experiment with this stuff and I don't want to waste it!

Non soluble means not water soluble. It will dilute in PG or PGA. One thing about the "real" oils (not flavoring) from Lorann's they are POTENT, you may need to do a 1% dilution to get the same strength as a flavoring.

I did this with the spearmint oil, they are VERY strong.

Will it not be soluble if I use VG or does that not matter?

I have to agree with you. I stopped over at Hobby Lobby to see what they had, and raspberry was one of them, so I bought it. I didn't use drops, I just mixed up my regular percentages using exact measurements and set flavoring to 5 percent. It was delicious. After a couple of days, it didn't taste as good as it did the first day. I guess I just got used to it. I'd been doing caramel apple for a couple of weeks now, and it's starting to taste bland. It's been a month or so since raspberry, so I think I'll be going back to it next week.

I use VG and have never had any luck with non water solubles mixing. I can't explain the chemistry, just my experience. Either the oil will separate completely, or if it does seem to mix in I don't think it blends. I can only assume the two didn't blend because of the completely different flavor when I made a dilution of VG compared to PG. The VG dilution had a strange filmy mouthfeel and a phenolic (like the smell of bandaid) flavor.

I like Lorann raspberry. Just made a batch for a friend over the weekend and was fairly impressed with it.

On the cinnamon thing - a lot of flavorings that aren't soluble in water are soluble in PGA. I think a lot of oil-based flavorings are mixed with a little PGA first and then tossed into the mix.
