Question: How long can TV Liquid last in an extremely HOT mailbox? I'm worried that my liquids will spoil in the heat.

The Problem:
I live in a private community, and our mail boxes require a key.
The lock has to fully be able to turn in order to open the little door (duh), and the mail man has stuffed my package into the small box, and pushed it under the lock so it cannot turn! Because of this, I can't get into my mail box, and my poor liquids are stuck in there baking. :-x

I'm just so annoyed right now, I called the local post office, and the woman said there is nothing they can do about it.

So again, My question is how long can liquid stay in the heat without going bad? I live in Utah, and it gets over 100 degrees here.

Not sure if it helpd but here in NC it wa very very hot last week when I had some pina coloda delivered - except I didnt know for 2 days because I as told the mailbox had been checked when it hadn't lol. juice was/is fine though and it was HOT when I finally retrieved it (it was in the dark mailbox though not in sunlight so maybe that helps it not go off)
I have to admit that I vaped it hot cos I wanted to see if it made hte vapor warmer

Do you have to break into the box or will the idiot mailman be able to get them out tomorrow?

I tried breaking in :( I have to give props to the manufacturer, The box is sealed. I tried poking under the door with my ID to try and push the box forward in hopes of getting the lock to turn, but it has guards so nothing can get in.
My husband tried using a "slim jim" thing (used to break into cars?) lol and that didn't work either. I felt like a drug addict trying to get their fix :(

Now I am just sitting here angry and wishing I could try my new flavors.

The woman who answered at the post office said there is nothing that can be done about it, other then waiting for the mail man to come again tomorrow.
Great, only I am at work from 7am to 4pm and there is no chance of catching him. He will probably just stuff more crap in my mail box. (They load them from the back.)

I'm hoping I can catch him on my lunch, And if not it seems like I am SOL.

Not only can I not get my package, but I am expecting multiple money orders from online sales, and Need to get things shipped out! Now I have no idea who has paid, because I can't get in my mail box! It screws everything up, because one of my well known policies is that I always ship the day payment is received no matter the form of payment.

If you can justify the additional expense, the Post Office has big mailboxes for something like $60 per year. I looked into it when I started vaping, but found out I didn't need one. It turns out that MY postal guy is pleasantly helpful and considerate (surprise!). It sounds like he could give your guy some lessons.

@ Capt. J: "Hot Vapes", har! There's a dirty joke in there somewhere, but I'll leave it alone. :D

Thanks everyone, Great Ideas.
I plan to leave a note taped to the back of it, Hopefully he gets the picture.
We have owned this house for a few years, and I'm an online shopping junkie, and Before now I have never had a problem. Of COURSE it happens when I am waiting for my Tasty Vapor liquids. Sooo my luck in life! :p
If the note doesn't work, my husband has promised to stalk the mail man, and get my package out.

I've wondered about this too. I'm on the east coast and recently ordered juice from LA which I imagine spent lots of time in hot trucks and warehouses. It vapes ok but I'm scared it may cut down on shelf life.
Hm... Thinking about it more rationally I think it will be alright. These juices have to hang out in plenty of hot places on the way to our mail boxes, right?

Well with TV liquid, I honestly don't worry about shelf life, It doesn't last long enough in my house to expire! Its my other juices that I am worried about now... ;) They're very neglected.

Acepilot- I wouldn't worry about it. Minus the fact that you are upset about not being able to vape them right now (I'd be soo ......) you have nothing to worry about. From what I hear, the heat can actually age it quicker than just letting it sit for a week in a cool dark area. I've had every one of my liquids sit in my mailbox for 8+ hours except for one and each of those liquids were delivered on a 95 degree day- captjay I live in NC too the summer has been RIDICULOUS!

But anyways if you think about it your liquids have been on a hot truck all day every day in transit to you. So if they don't smell bad or taste bad when you finally get them in your hands, they have survived :) hope you can get to them soon

So... My notes did nothing. Came home on my lunch, right as the mail man was pulling away, So I was super excited and expected my package to be on my porch. It wasn't, so I figured he just moved the package so I would be able to get in. Nope. Still can't get in. He probably just shoved all my hew mail into the back and called it a good day. :(

I called the post office again, and explained the situation again. The guy said he would have someone here in 15 minutes to fix the problem.
A guy showed up with a tool box, and said that sometimes the boxes break, and thats why I can't open my mail box. I said No, Its not broken. My package was shoved under the lock. He looked at me like I was crazy, but went to the back and opened it up.
I was RIGHT!
He moved stuff around, and My mail box opened without a hitch!
I am now vaping TV Cherry Cola!
Question, Did anyone else think it tastes like black liquorish? Thats the only flavor I get from it... Will that change as it ages?
