Vamos are nice but dont drop them they dont like being dropped
but there is the SVD by Innoken/Itaste for about the same price range which is all stainless steel construction ( much better)
the top cap of the vamo is plated brass and eventually the 510 threads become worn and the atomizer will begin to wobble due to the loose threads. Since the SVD is stainless it wont have that problem

I think I am gonna go with the MVP from what I've been reading. I like that it has the ohm readout on the device. I wrap my own coils and have a cheap (REALLY CHEAP) multimeter. It ouly goes down to X10 on the ohms part which is fine for me since I don't go below 1.5 ohms. Although it is still a pain to use the meter itself.

Most vv/vw devices will give you an ohm readout one way or the other.
Some only do it by firing the coil - like my zmax; some, like my vamo, can give you the ohms without firing the coil;
then there are the more expensive ones like evic, or dna30 with a bigger screen which basically give a kind of dashboard with icons and numbers telling you ohms, volts, watts, maybe even temperature.

Yea point being more expensive and me being almost broke for now. I will be getting $300.00 once a guy gets the money together for me to fix his car. He need the lower end redone and I am mechanically proficient. I hope he is able to get it together pretty soon I could use some new juice and the MVP.

I am in the market for a descent VV/VW device. I am on a bit of a budget so price is a major factor. I have seen the Vamo V5 on Ebay for around 32.00 and am thinking of going with it. I am just here to see if anyone has any better suggestions for me.
Owning a VAMO V5, MVP 2.0 and VV V3, I would say your first VW mod should be the MVP2.0.. It has a 'smoother' vape than the V5. The VV V3 is the same, just smaller with less battery time.
