The SVD is also an option.

1) Pretty darn decent machining and build quality for a Chinese mod. Heads and shoulders above the Vamo. The threads on your Segelei might not be so good, either, be careful with those.
2) Compatible with 18350, 18500, and 18650 batteries.
3) Telescoping, so you don't need to remove a part of the device like the Vamo (and possibly lose it).
4) Contact threads are machined WAAAAY better than the Vamo.
5) Menu isn't OLED so there is less chance for the screen's display to go wonky on you.
6) Three button user interface - the same as the Vamo... except......
7) YOUR BUTTONS LOCK!! W00t. The biggest and best advantage over the Vamo, in my opinion.
8) The top portion of the mod unscrews so you can use an ego-threaded delivery device without worrying about it getting stuck inside the drip well (I understand newer models of Vamos come with this, but still, it's worth it).
9) it looks way more like a lightsaber than any other mod out there, even the Tesla.

Yeah was just trying to stay away from a box mod. I'm really thinking Lava Tube v2... or Svd...

So Innokin's quality seems to be pretty high most of the time. If I were picking from the options you've posted, I would go for the Sigelei Zmax or the Innokin SVD.

I do not have either, but I do have many Innokin products (4 iTaste VVs, 2 MVPs, and a VTR) and one Sigelei (Legend) as a frame of reference. That said, *IF* the Zmax is built as solidly as the Legend (which I own) I would take it hands down over anything else on this list, although followed closely by the SVD as all my Innokin products are also exceptional.

If you could double or triple your budget, then the Svoe Mesto Semovar or a Futura DNA20 mod would be on the list too ... LOL!

The Sigelei V3s and V5s were selling for under $50 (body only) before Christmas. Most of those vendors are sold out now and are waiting for new stock. The Chinese New Year will hit on the 31st and that will also deplete vendor stocks for a while.

Varitube doesn't sell at the lowest prices but they prep the Sigelei Zmax Telescopic tube threads with Noalox (recommended) and offer a 90-day warranty.

The Sigelei Zmax is a great piece of hardware for the price. The Smok Tech version not so much. I have both. The Smok unit's collecting dust due to well known button issues. It's junk.

My Sigelei gets used daily in rotation with an Evic, Vamo and Semovar. While it's not my absolute favorite it also cost less than the Semovar or Evic. I would certainly choose it over the Vamo mainly due to the quality of the build and the Vamo's buttons making it too easy to accidentally change settings without realizing it.
