I am looking for some good advice because even though i have been vaping for about 2 weeks now I find that my ego is not giving me the vapor that i want...so with that being said i want to move over to the mod side of the playing field does anyone have any advice in terms of mods the batteries i need for them as well as what type of atomizer i should use? I am also trying to do my 5 posts since i am a new member!!!

As far as the mod itself that is a matter of personal preference. For the batteries that if pretty much always the same. You are going to want either 18350 or 18650 lithium ion batteries. The 18350 are smaller and the 18650 are large with more of a lifespan per charge. As for a great atomizer you can check out the IGO-L & IGO-W for dripping and rebuildable atomizers.
Actually Mrstik, while I do love that mod you speak of, until I got it I was very happy with the Lavatube 2. It's half the price and they come in some snazzy colors. As an introduction to the vv/vw mode I think it would do very nicely. (although that one you won't speak of is the cat's meow) ;-)
The four or five APV's that I like are:
1. The iTaste 3.0 (stick battery form factor with full APV features)
2. The iTaste MVP V2 (box mod form factor and comparable to stick battery with very long battery life and USB charging)
3. The Vamo V3 (stainless) or V5 (stainless) - perhaps the best value APV device on the market, but quality control issues make this a crap shoot. I had good luck. Others have not.
4. Sigelei V3/V5 - perhaps the best quality telescoping APV for under $100. Nice form factor and menu system. Great build. Elegant.
5. The iTaste SVD - perhaps the best value in a telescoping APV. Good build quality and reliable.
OR, just jump to the Provari. If you are a serious vaper, there's a good chance you'll end up there someday. I have all the above and three Provari's. Great build quality, reliability, accuracy durability and warranty.

Kerosive but do these batteries have a safe chemical makeup, because a friend of mine told me that some batteries can explode?
I willing to spend no more than $80-$100 on a mod because im on a tight budget over here in korea. teaching kids english is fun and I love the country but it doesn't make as much money as you want it to!
The consensus here has been to go with certain brand of batteries that ar IMR. I personally use AW or Efast, with AW being my preferred batteries.

Those are good ones to start your research on. Check out reviews and do your research on any product you wish to buy. If you can, go feel and play with them in a store before you buy. What is good for one user may not be perfect for you.
If you are looking for a really inexpensive 350 mod, try this. I have one and it seems to work well. If it breaks in 6 months...., so what!

Bill gave you a great list and summed up well what many of us would recommend. I would go variable and for a new person, I find a variable watt (VW) model like the iTaste V3 or the Vamo are excellent next steps, as they are closer to "set & forget".
On the head you might use (what you put on top of your PV), many of us have found that a good glass Tank-Carto set-up is the most consistent and least hassle. Good tanks can be found at Phiniac or IBTanked. 3-holed punched cartos such as Smoktek or IKenvapes are well supported. I am not a big fan of most clearomizers because of the hassle and inconsistency of many of them. But I have seen some impressive reviews of the new Aspire Glass Clearomizer. If you go the clearomizer route, I would suggest starting out with the Aspire BDC (bottom dual coil).

Yes. These are all great. I love the Sigelei the best. Stainless, tubular APV, single button menu system, telescoping, quality build, ego/510 threading, elegant, nice form factor. Add some AW IMR batteries and an Nitecore charger, and you're good to go. I also use MNKE's and Panny CGR CH's, and like the Pila and Xtar chargers.

Edit: Btw, all of them are variable wattage and variable voltage. See YouTube videos on these devices. Check out Phil Busardo and I like Todd's Reviews as well. Grimm Green is also very popular.
Also, for toppers I recommend Kangers...evods, Protanks (PTII) and MT3S's and iClear30S's. I have not tried the Aspire's yet, and I do so love my carto tanks, and likely will not use a clearo again. Best to you!

I went through the Evo's when I first started to vape. Last year I bought a Zmax. I really liked this, but ended up losing it. Right now I have a couple of iTaste VV's that I really like. They have a good vape and are relatively inexpensive. I am using Protank 2 mini tanks.

Thats a cute mod- I like that it has the inner and outer threads... but doesn't have Vairable Votage. I totally recommend a device that has VV. In that you can adjust for that sweet stop, All juices can not run at the same Voltage.
Nice to converse with a fellow Mountaineer! (grew up in Parkersburg). I lived in Charleston for three years when I was transferred there. I like both Marshall and WVU, although I attended neither. Live in GA, now, but miss the my home state more and more.
