i don't think the atomizer went dry.....i mean, i just got it in the mail this afternoon, but i don't know....how do i tell, plus i don't have any eliquid just the carts that came with it.

Here is my input. take it for what it's worth.
Number 1, makes sure the cart is full and not dry. 103's have tiny little carts which drain very quickly.
Number 2, make sure your batteries are fully charged. Plug one in and see if it goes green on the charger.
Number 3, assuming 1 and 2 are taken care of, take a quick 1-2 second drag to prime it. then take a much longer drag. just a little harder than is required to turn on the led on the end of the battery. Drag for 4-5 seconds(or as long as you realistically can). Inhale. Hopefully on exhale, assuming you don't hold it in for a long time, there is a good puff of vapor.
Hope that is at least a little helpful.

well rat, i watched your vids.....very good information there.
i tried the priming idea and expanded on it, as i stated before with a consistant draw, the LED will go out, well.....ive figured out that if i take short, inhales back to back to back i get a much strong pull with denser smoke.

thats seems to be the trick....almost like taking 5-6 tenth of a second draws instead of one 3-4 second draw
Atomizer goes dry when your cart goes dry. I've never had an exposed atomizer e-cig so i've never really gotten to see the atomizer in my face. I don't know if I'd want to poke it anyway.
