Hey guys!

I have recently decided to take the plunge into using e cigs. I have been a smoker since I was 16 and decided, that for the benefit of my kids, I would try to kick the habit.

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of the fruit flavors though. My kids, 7 and 12, are far too intrigued by them and want to "taste" them.

As I was researching e cigs on the web, I came across this site, what do you guys think? Seems to me like there is a lot of good information there.

GreenNicotine? Sounds to me like a site similar to the one I fell for and abandoned by now because it kept me from trying out juices with their prefilled cartomizers and batteries that can't survive filling your own cartos. Careful. Just look around the forum, you'll find lots of links to nice mods that will give you the flexibility to try different juices and fill your own cartos, clearos, or tanks..... :) And keep the kiddos away from the e-liquid, lock it up if you have to. Kids and nicotine liquid doesn't mix, it can be deadly. Nicotine that just may give you a headache if you vape too much might very well kill a kid if they decide to drink it or get too much of it on their skin.....

You can tell that Green Nicotine site is a scam. Notice the news site logos along the bottom? They are just logos. No links to any actual articles about the company. I'm sure that the use of the logos in that matter is a trademark violation.

Another sign: You can become an "entrepreneur" and have your very own Green Nicotine stand in a mall!

What is in E Cigarettes? - What is in e cigarettes | Best electronic cigarette | Green Nicotine E Cigs | High Quality Vapor Cigarettes

Keep everything out of reach of your kids. You didn't let them touch or "taste" your cigarettes, did you? Same thing with the ecigarettes/supplies.

Of course I didn't let them try it! And I have since completely abandoned fruit or candy flavors. I don't even want to tempt them with sneaking it.

I sat down and talked with the older one about why she is not allowed to have it and how I hope that it will "help daddy quit smoking." My concern is the break in logic in their heads. Trying to explain how one type of juice is good and one type is bad is not a fight that I want to try winning. That's why I will only use traditional tobacco flavors.

And thanks for the input guys! Although I have to say that the information that Green Nicotine is getting about propylene glycol and vegetable glycol seems to be accurate.

welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your decision! I wouldn't go through that site you listed, there are a lot of scammers out there, ECF has a huge list of great suppliers on here that are very good businesses. There are so many different sizes and brands, it took me awhile before deciding on one I wanted to try, now i'm looking for something bigger. If you have any questions people will help you out, get ya on the right path and figure out which one is right for you, good luck and happy vaping!:vapor:

Sounds like a scam place to me. They come up with excuses to sell you more expensive preloaded cartomizers in a limited amount of flavors.

My tastebuds didn't die when I hit 18. The reason I find e-cig easy to keep me off cigarettes is because of the fruit flavors taste better than cigarettes and the ability to adjust the nicotine to what I want/need.
I find tobacco flavors to be either bad or not tobacco flavored. What I'm smoking now is supposed to be tobacco flavored but it tastes like cappuccino to me.

Do you avoid having mixed drinks because your kids would want to try them? Just going by my experience if you limit yourself to the bad tasting juice flavors you'll be back on the real ones quickly. It's not an exact substitute so I say to play up to its strengths and that is flavor.
