So I have sorta been vaping on and off for about a year, mostly with the crappy, storebought ecigs. I did have a chance to try the Joyetech Ego and prior to this I had not realized how good vaping could be. So I started doing some snooping around on the web and I found this place. At first I was a bit confused because almost every other ecig 'forum' was just a bunch of advertising, but I checked this place out and it seemed pretty cool. I just ordered myself the Volcano Inferno and I was wondering if that would be a good decision. I got that and a couple of flavors. I probably should buy some more stuff for it. Lmao, I do consider myself somewhat technologically saavy so I am not too worried about being overwhelmed. :D I just was a bit curious as to what more I should get and whether this was a good choice. I'm not too worried about spending money, as this is a lot better than what I've been doing. In fact I plan on spending a good chunk of change trying out different things for vaping. It would be appreciated if people could share (preferably in laymans terms, or atleast with explanations) what is worth looking into.

Hi, Mr. Anderson. I'm new here too, and like you, I've read a lot here for several months but just recently joined. I've never used the Volcano Inferno, so I can't 't comment on that. However, I can heartily recommend any of the 4 in my profile pic which are, from left to right, the Provari v2, Silver Bullet (comes in colors other than orange), Prodigy V3.1, and the eGo-C Twist (1000mah). With the right atties, tanks, cartos, etc, each of these vapes like a beast!

Welcome MrA, you've come to the right place. You could spend tens of hours here and still be finding new and relevant things. There are lots of review threads and videos that can point you towards devices you'd like to try. There is certainly a lot to choose from right now in the vaping world.

Let us know what you think of that Inferno. I just ordered a VTube and would be interested in the comparison.

My only advice would be to try the ego twist before you spend all that money on a mod. The Twist is VV and capable of 5V. The battery life is the same as the standard Ego or sometimes less when using higher voltage. Ive only been vaping for a few months now, and I was curious about higher voltages, and fortunately I was able to experiment this way. Turns out I am fine with standard voltage with a clearomizer, but I do have higher voltage with a simple twist if I ever want it.

Hey there welcome to ECF!

So far it sounds like you made a good choice. I've heard great things about the eGo Twist lately.

Tip: Buy small sample sizes before you commit to 30ml anything!!

You may want a pack of cartomizers or cleromizers as well! Check out the juice reviews. It can take time to find the juices you like but it is pretty fun buying from different vendors and getting that feel for the vendor that is for you.

vaporgod.com offers bottom barrel cartomizer pack prices + a free 5 ml of their juice to give a try.

mister-e-liquid.com is my #1 personal favorite. Their Ice collection has a following.

highbrowvapor.com has gotten some buzz as well lately and have some tempting flavors to try

sweet-vapes.com is another one of my favorites. If you're looking for a pure chocolate vape their chocolate fudge brownie is hard to beat.

Check out this sub forum for reviews. So many vendors to pick from! : E-Liquid Reviews

The Inferno is a Volcano branded eGo class battery just like the Johnson Creek Vea. They make good stuff but you do pay for the branding. I prefer KGOs as they work identically but are cheaper, I get mine at sweet-vapes but many vendors carry them. Your Inferno should work just as well as any quality eGo type kit.

As far as variable voltage and all the other trendy stuff - it might work well for you and it might not. I have VV devices but I vape at "4.2 off the charger" 95% of the time. It's a balance between battery output, resistance of the juice holder, and the actual juice you use. My everyday to work kit is 650 mah KGO batteries with CE3 bottom coil clearos - and has been for months...

Welcome to ECf Mr. A! The Inferno/ Ego-style is a GREAT starting platform... And there are soooooooo many goodies out there for you to try. From Dual-Coil Carto Tanks, to Bottom Coil CE3 Clearomizers, to Stardust Tanks, to HH357 Atomizers or Cisco Spec atomizers from AvidVaper.... The options are beginning to be endless...
If you're looking for a Advanced PV in the future, the Provari would basically be the best choice, there are plenty of VV Devices out there but the provari is top notch in my book...

Enjoy your new lifestyle and have fun finding new goodies and juices that you like

I have been using the ego-C changable atomizer heads and tank system lately . I had given up on tanks but now with the changeable heads I have been back on them lately . The type B holds more liquid and is easy to use and easy to change cartridges for different flavours . Worth looking into IMO . Works best with VV or ego twist to find the sweet spot but even on a reg PV it works good . You might want to order LR heads though .

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I just got the inferno today. Wow. I don't think I'm ever gonna want an analog again. I do not think that I have ever been happier with something in my life. I'm probably going to go broke spending money on this stuff. I would like to try some new flavors though. I got the Volcano cotton candy with the Inferno, but I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy a bunch of sample flavors. Is there anything that I should know about maintenance, or buying spare parts ahead of time? I feel like a little kid on Christmas day right now.

Now it's time to go crazy trying juice samples. Lol. My favorites are:

ecblendsflavors.com. You can customize and create your own flavors and they sell sample sizes.
thevaporroom.net. They have the best citrus flavors I've found. Especially the piña colada. The sell a 10 pack of 3 ml samplers.
Vape Dudes is good. So is Mad Vapes and Highbrow. Mountain Oak Vapors sells some nice original flavors, too

But ECBlends is my favorite. They sell my top fave vapes. Create your own coffee, Caramel, Dulce de Leche, and Fluffy Spun Sugar in double flavor with double sweetener and a shot of raspberry. Others I keep in stock are Dragon's Blood and White Peach ala Zoe with a shot of Vanilla. It is impossible for me to order without creating another flavor!

Mostly just keep the juice cleaned out from the top of the battery. You can stock up on a variety of carto/s attys of different OHMs. I went a bought myself a whole 2nd starter kit for back-up parts.

ECF is the best forum IMO for e-cig info. You will find all kinds of info, others preferences and experiences with devices and juices. I personally prefer the Provari which I use with Phiniac tanks, and my favorite (only) juice vendor is Virgin Vapor.

Have fun with your adventure - I know I have been having a great time exploring the vaping world and trying different products, but gotta say that my Provari is quite the vape!

Hi and welcome, I also have the inferno, tho it is my backup at this point. Depending on the options you went with you either have the tank system (inferno is an Ego-T) or dripping set up. I found the tanks to be a problem and quickly changed to cartos. Anything with a 510 connection will fit it, and the stardusts seems to be what a lot of people like.

Okay, so I'm pretty sure I just bought around 50 different flavors from a variety of places. Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent atty that I could use with my Inferno? Do attys work with the tube tank that came with it? Haha, I'm sorry for about all the questions, Obviously I am a little bit excited...

Most attys you don't use in a tank, however there are a few that do, like the reactor atty tank. If the atty dosen't have a hole in it, then you can't use it in a tank. BUT, attys are great for sampling flavors BEFORE you commit them to a carto tank. Any atty or carto somewhere in the 1.7-2.0 ohm range should work well with your Inferno. Happy sampling! You've got a good device, now it's time to nail down some flavors you like, then you're pretty much set, except for trying new things that is!
